STRONGLY SUGGEST GOING FISHING IN CABO, look up Salivor (owner) and Mike the office gentleman!
I unfortunately am terrible with names but both the captain and deck hand went the extra mile on the El Budster Pride Boat.
I was solo on this fishing excursion because the girlfriend and our kids all get sea sick but I'm not passing up...More
We chartered El Buster for a fishing trip in early June. We had a blast. We choose Salvador's Charters based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. The whole experience went smoother than a babies back side. We arrived at the dock at 6:15AM for our...More
These guys are great. I had trouble finding a boat to charter, and Mike called around to get our party of 4 on the 31' Max Time for the day. We went fishing in April (off season), and caught 2 yellowfin tuna and 1 marlin!!...More

We are located on Dock 3, close to Cabo Dolphins and Sr. Frogs. It is approximately 10 min cab ride, would recommend cab. The fishing in Sept. can be spectacular. The most common fish that are caught include striped marlin (possibly black or blue as well), sailfish, dorado (aka mahi mahi), yellow fin tuna and wahoo. Would recommend booking soon as it is a busy time of year for most established charter companies. Thanks for your inquiry, we hope to hear from you soon!

I've fished on the El Budster 3-4 times a year for the past 15 years. You can't go wrong with them. Pangas are mentioned above but I wouldn't recommend one for first time Cabo anglers. They are small open boats with an outboard. Any wind at all and you'll be limited to fishing in very close or you'll be miserable from being tossed around. A cruiser like the two El Budster boats would make for a much more comfortable and enjoyable trip. I tip the captain and mate $125 per day which brings the total cost to around $650. That includes your licenses and live bait (you'll want to have live bait). The El Budster website allows you to sign up for either boat. They have some other boat options that are larger (and more expensive) so be sure to sign up for either the El Budster or El Budster Pride. I prefer the El Budster because of the captain and mate. Nothing wrong with the Pride, but I've been fishing with Endy and Ishmael on the El Budster for a long time. Either way you go you should be pleased. There are no guarantees in fishing but these guys will work hard trying to make it a memorable trip. December or January are both very good months for Cabo fishing.
