This is a tourist area for sure. Beach access but very busy with vendors which became overwhelming. You can sit in a lounge chair on the beach order food and drinks. Billigans was a fun spot!! Enjoy the beautiful view and the water.

I really wished i choose a place more calmer but medano was the place to go that wasn't far from our hotel. The beach is vicious. It still can be a bit dangerous for people who can't swim as good. There are wayyyt to many...More

The best thing about this beach is that it is within a water taxi ride or walk from the harbor. It's crowded unless you are with a private resort; vendors all around with stuff to sell and iguanas to touch/photograph. If you are looking for...More

One of the few beaches you can actually swim on. We went down there to swim, but was covered with locals. We did not stay. Beaches you can actually swim on are scarce and typically covered with locals..

Of course you can't come to Cabo and not see Medano Beach! The views are amazing and the people watching can't be beat! The beach is lined with bars and restaurants as well as vendors selling everything touristy you can imagine. The only downside is...More

Medano beach was not crowded, and the water was very nice. We stayed at Casa Dorada, which ropes off their part of the beach, so that keeps the crowds down and vendors away.

Went to Medano Beach with my family and we had a great time! The resort we were staying at had some private space allotted for all of their guests, so we weren't bothered by any of the vendors. This beach is not only beautiful, but...More

Literally it starts right around the corner. But the Marina is big so it could take an hour for you to get to the other side.

Last year I visited this beach as my friends were staying at the Dorado resort, but I recall having to go through a locked gate. Are outsiders able to access the beach?

every beach is open to the public. Each has a roped off area specifically for guests but they are diligent in making sure there is no public access to the grounds or pool.

Is there any place that has lockers so you can lock things up and then go swimming?

I have never seen lockers there. We usually ask people nearby to watch our stuff & offer to do the same for them.
