Best beach for family with small children!
Really nice beach and great for small children, waves can get a little crazy close to the afternoon but if you know how to swim it’s fine. My 7 and 9 year old had a lot of fun playing w the waves and swimming w the fishes. Parking is good also and the walkway from the parking to the beach makes it easy to get to beach. No food and souvenir vendors which made it nice and enjoyable not getting hassled every 5 minutes, only at the entrance of the beach there’s an umbrella and chair rentals, about $5 for a chair we had our own umbrella so we didn’t rent one but they were about $15 to rent an umbrella. Take your own food and drinks and enjoy the beach it was one of our favorite beaches!!

    Still a gem of a beach but…
We had previously visited Chileno 7&8 years ago. Since then, progress has occurred which means dirt roads, parking area and pathways are now paved/asphalted. A restroom and outdoor showers are now in place. The beach is still nice for families; just a whole lot more people here than previously. That’s the only reason for my 4-star review (it was a 5 when we last came).

    Great swimming beach!
Great swimming beach and the water was crystal clear. There were waves but so so big that a 5 year-old couldn’t get in the water and swim around and have fun. Get there early to save a good spot on the beach because it gets pretty full. There are umbrellas and snorkeling gear for rent. There aren’t any food stands so pack snacks and drinks. Ample parking. Boat tours start showing up and anchoring off shore mid morning which contributes to the crowd.

    Great place to relax
Chilleno Beach is an excellent free public beach. Vendors there rent chairs and umbrellas (2 chairs and 1 umbrella should cost $40-45 usd). Great place to watch the sunrise, and their restroom and shower facilities are new and very clean. Highly recommend if looking for something relaxing to do away from the hustle and bustle of Cabo

Great place for snorkeling in shallow water with small kids
Perfect beach for snorkeling in shallow water with young kids. We didn't go far from the shore but many people did and spent tons of time there, so it's probably a good spot for that as well. Bathrooms are relatively clean. The sand is not smooth, it's mostly tiny sharp rocks - the water shoes were very helpful. One night we visited this beach for star gazing and it was AMAZING!

    Beautiful Spot!
Beautiful beach to spend a few hours relaxing or going in the water. Bring your own food as no food is available on site. Chairs, towels and umbrella is a good idea also. You can rent chairs and an umbrella if needed. There are no vendors and it’s beautiful sand/water.

    Lovely way to enjoy Cabo
Lovely beach for swimming with kids. Showers and bathrooms very clean. Chairs and umbrellas easily available. Lots of locals so it feels less touristy but bring water and snacks as absolutely nothing available there

    Must visit!
Incredible! Went in the later afternoon around 4 pm it was plenty but would have returned for another day. Tons of Sun!!! So an umbrella would help if you go during the day. Bring a snorkel and goggles so you can get the full experience of swimming with the fish! Snacks and water help too as the saltwater and energy to swim takes a toll on you.

Small beach, went on a Saturday and it was very crowded for such a small beach. The other downside is the surf is way too rough for swimming or snorkeling. Went back to touristy El Medano Beach since the waves are calm and El Medano is a very LONG Beach so it doesn't feel crowded.

The one, period. Clear water, calm waves, no one hawking goods n services, lots of fish to see even without snorkeling gear.

Limited services so bring cash, water and food.

This was by far the best day I had on vacation. I took an Uber to Chileano Beach and we had a blast. The water is beautiful and clear. No vendors harassing you in the beach! Perfect!
