Great relaxing spot to chill-- for now. Being surrounded with new construction and manicured grounds. Time is limited before crowds ruin the experience. Water incredibly clear and easy to swim in. There is a shore break but the undertow and force very minor. Guards post red flags if swimming unsafe. Boats brought snorkeling trips but they never remained longer than... More

Chileno Beach had softer sand than the rocky beach where we stayed. It's a public beach with lifeguards, outdoor showers, parking and restrooms, but no shade, food or drink so bring your own drinks, at a minimum. It can be a great snorkeling beach - tons of fish and a rocky area, but the water can be rough with an... More

Highly recommend going to this beach. It is extremely clean and no vendors. Enjoy the whole day at the beach. Great for free snorkeling if you have the equipment.

We took a boat from central Cabo over to Chileno Bay. It took about 45 minutes on the boat to get there. The beach area was fine but we were there for the snorkeling. There were a lot of fish but they weren't very colorful. Mostly small grey fish and a few yellow and black striped fish. Overall wasn't too... More

bring your own beach umbrella or tent when you go to this beach because there is zero shade. the water is clear for snorkeling and for swimming. as we could find no shade we went to the other end from the entrace and put our towel underneath a palm tree where the only shade was. suddenly a mexican came out... Great area to snorkel. Clear water and larger and a lot of fish . We had a perfect weather day, blue sky, sunshine and warm water. April 2017. Solomon was our guide from Cabo Adventures who really made it special.

Beautiful beach by Palmilla resort. Busy with tour boats coming and going so keep an eye on the little ones. Strong undertow but if ur a good swimmer you shouldn't have issues. By far the best snorkeling of the trip! We were able to rent umbrellas. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. Parking is a challenge so get there early,... More

Easily accessibly by car and located on the hotel corridor between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, this is an excellent swimmable beach with new facilities and paved parking lot. Bring snorkeling gear and walk right into large schools of fish and reefs. Come early to avoid the boats coming from Cabo San Lucas. A favorite of the... More

One of the best beaches for swimming. Many of the beaches in Cabo are closed to swimmers because of the rough surf and dangerous undertow. Chileno is a bay that's perfect for kids to play in and there are life guards on duty. Snorkeling is great as there's a variety of fish to see near the rocks. You don't even... More
