Watch for the 14 Km road marker and then get ready to turn right. You have to drive down a dirt road to get to the parking lot. I recommend you go early as lots of people arrive after 10 am. When we got ready to leave around 2 pm, the parking lot was almost full. The best snorkeling area... More

We took a $30 cab ride here from our hotel in San Jose del Cabo which is cheaper than using a tour company for our family of 5. You can take the bus for a cheaper day out but we would have had to walk from the highway and we had snorkel gear and a picnic lunch so felt this... More

easy to get to from san lucas by bus. take the yellow and purple coach buses for 2$ usd. tell the driver where you're going and they will drop you off at the highway exit which is a short walk to the beach. there is a new exit just for chileno beach condos. Security is not a problem because the... More

Beautiful beach with lots of space for you to enjoy this very family friendly beach. Even little ones are safe in the water here as its shallow for a long way compared to most. And in a bay so it's not strong waves at all. Public bathrooms too.

This pristine natural beach, which was easily SEEN as well as accessible from hi way 1...sadly, is no longer.. The destruction of this previously attractive site is truly shameful ! The greed exhibited by these 'developers' has cast a sorrowful shadow on the site, as well as Cabo itself.... The governmental administration should be questioned For failures in environmental protection... More

Pretty beach with great snorkeling. But this is small and very crowded. Santa Maria is a better choice - and it is just next door.

The beauty of the beach was compromised by the sights and sounds of condo development. Unfortunate reality of the building boom along the corridor.

Many of the tour boats take you here to snorkel anyway and you can just snorkel right from the beach. Great spot - lots of fish to see, especially if you have a little something to feed them :) The sand is very pebbly - hard on your feet, so wear some foot protection, if possible. Had to ask hotel... My family enjoys snorkeling...so we rented a car and visited Chileno Beach. (We visited Santa Maria bay on another day as part pf a boat snorkeling tour.) We found Chileno to be an exceptional snorkeling time...as the bay that is off to the right of the beach (facing the ocean) is large and few we even in it... and the... More

Drive on Hwy 1 between 12/13km markers, same location that snorkel tours go. Enter the water on the right side of beach, wade up to your waist and start droping pieces of bread into the water. I wont tell you the rest. Great for seniors, non-swimmers, kids.
