We had SUCH an amazing time on the zip line adventure in Cabo San Lucas with the FANTASTIC Green Team!!
We were on an NCL Mexican Riviera cruise over the New Year holiday week, and we booked this excursion through our ship.
It was a long small bus ride to the location but when we arrived, we were treated as welcomed guests!! The team outfitted our family (Mom, Dad, G17, B15, B15, B10) and the rest of our group with our gear. There were about 12-15 of us, total.
We were a little nervous about what to expect as we piled into a utility vehicle that took us to the starting point. The team was warm and funny, but professional and serious about safety!
The zip lining itself was fantastic!! We did several lines, some even upside down! We also repelled down the side of a cliff, climbed a couple of ladders and traversed a canyon by rope. I never felt unsafe.
After the thrilling experience, we were treated to a yummy Mexican lunch served back at their facilities and clean restrooms were available for use.
Overall, our experience was fantastic!! Would do it again in a heartbeat!
The one and only change I wish could be made is that the photographs taken were so incredibly expensive. I believe it was 2 photos for $50. With a family of 6, we could not rationalize the purchase and regretfully do not have any documentation of the amazing experience!

BEST TOUR EVER! This tour was way more then I ever expected. The guides/photographer....José, Billy and Mercedes...full of information regarding the Sea of Cortez and what we would be seeing at the sea lion colony, friendly, fun and personable. The catamaran was very nice as well as our captain and his crew. We were very lucky to see lots of wildlife, which is never a given. There was the humpback whale that jumped/breached. By the excitement in the guides voices you knew this wasn’t a normal sight. The snorkeling by the sea lion colony. Second largest in the world. Only larger one being the one in the Galápagos Islands. Able to see lots of colorful fish. Water was cold but they do offer wetsuits, which I definitely would recommend. On the way back, we came across a large pod of dolphins. They played in the wake of the catamaran, swam with the catamaran, jumping. It was the most incredible thing I had ever seen. They were with us for probably a half an hour. They then anchored the catamaran. You could jump off the catamaran, snorkel, swim, etc. it was a long day, but definitely worth it!!

On Dec. 7. 2020 we went on a evening dinner, sunset cruise on a Catameran. While we were on our cruise they spotted whales. wow, wow, wow, The skipper and crew { Manuel, Carolia, and Nana } I believe were there names amazing stayed with the whales as they put on a show for us. As the sun set and darkness fell and a little of sunset of fire in sky ,they turned music off we sat there floating and in the quiet of the night we heard the whales talking to each other. A moment I will remember the rest of my life. My husband and I were celebrating our 40th anniversary, I am on a walker so they helped us go to boat first and get seated before the crowd. As they were taking pictures with the arch in background , I couldnt stand and walk to area they were taking pictures, so the skipper turned the boat to be in a spot in which they had the arch in our background to take our picture.. This crew were the best,,,top rated service, will recommend this to everyone first class service all the way Thank You for making a night we will remember forever..

Talk about a company that chooses profit over people. We had 3 activities scheduled with them (Parasailing, Dolphins, and a Sunset Cruise).
The parasailing was great, it was short and sweet. We didn't need to be up in the sky for that long anyway so it was nice. They offered to take pictures with our phones and also stopped by the Arch since we had some extra time to get a close up view of it and take some more pictures as well. Transportation was quick and prompt.
Unfortunately the Dolphin encounter seemed like a setup to take your money. No phones or cameras were allowed. We arrived, same like we did for the parasailing. The experience with the dolphin was great and they seemed like they were well taken care of. Even the instructor was awesome as well. The biggest downfall there was how much they wanted to charge you for the pictures. The lowest price started at $150 (bear in mind they do not allow you to choose individual photos either) they force you purchase all of the photos and videos, which either forces you to buy it all or go home empty handed. It was disaster leaving the photo center. So many people felt like they were being robbed for the photo prices that even some of the people we're leaving in tears because of the memories they weren't going to be able to take home with them. It just felt wrong on so many levels. They have the sense of knowing that not many will be able to have such a special moment again with animal like that so they feel they can charge you extortion prices. Unfortunately my fiancé and I will never be able to share those memories again or just to look at. (Just something to bear in mind before you make the decision to go here)
Our last activity with them was the Sunset Sailing Cruise. There was a storm that was coming on Sunday, our tour was on Saturday evening. They didn't even bother to call or let us know that they hand cancelled the activity on us. We ended up waiting about an half hour before we were told that it was cancelled after we called. So now we don't even get the chance to experience our biggest activity that we were looking forward to the most..
Now we wait to see if we even get our refund back...
Thank you Cabo Adventures.

I kind of feel bad for only leaving a three star review, but we didn't get to see much. We paid $110 US dollars each, so I guess I was expecting more. We were picked up at the resort and taken to the marina. We then had to get in a line to get our tickets then sent to a waiting area, where we waited nearly 30 minutes. Once we got on the catamaran, we had a nice ride to the area of the whales. It was a little chilly when the sun wasn't out, so be sure to bring a jacket if you get cold easy. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. I thought it was a little odd that he said EVERYTHING in both Spanish and English. I get the respect for those who speak Spanish, but everyone in our group spoke fluent English. We saw a few whales here and there, but nothing too exciting. The guide ended up playing an audio of the whales (previously recorded), as did another guide boat that was so close to us we could hear their recording. They were very generous with the drinks and also provided an okay lunch. All-in-all, we could see more whales from the beach at our resort, but it was nice to take a scenic boat ride.

Super group for adventures. We have taken multiple trips with them. Zip line trip is the best in the area by far! Cabo Pulmo diving trip was incredible.
Swimming with whale sharks was our latest adventure. The time (30-40 minutes) we actually spent within 10 feet of the enormous creature (about 25 feet long) was great. A couple things to keep in mind: The area (sanctuary) where we are allowed to interact with the whales is about 6 km square (I think that's how big they told us) The government controls access & allows only a limited number of boats in at a time (I think it was 20) When you get there,(in the boat) you check in with the "gatekeeper" who lets you know what number you are in line. If the area is full, you wait until enough boats leave & it becomes your turn. WARNING, it is possible to arrive at the sanctuary & find that your wait might be 2-3 hours OR MORE. Once you receive permission to enter, you are allowed 2 hours before you must exit the area. It is possible to have a 2 hour boat ride & see 0 sharks, but it sounds like they can find at least 1 on almost every trip. (The boats all have GPS & big brother knows where you are & how fast you are going) In short, we had a great time, but be aware that this might turn into an ALL DAY adventure. We went on a Tuesday & the normal restaurant they go to for lunch was closed, so we went to a different place. The food was OK, but not quite what we were hoping for & the prices that we were actually charged for "additional" things, like desert were way higher than what was listed on the menu.
The guides were extraordinary on every trip we have ever taken with them.

The transportation did not accommodate the the number of passengers comfortably at all we were stuffed into a van to maximum capacity but did not allow for persons over 175 lbs. Tt was a 2.5 hour car ride to our destination and was extremely uncomfortable the entire ride. Guide, Marco was very polite and knowledgeable but lacked the foresight to recognize or acknowledge how uncomfortable the guests were. In fact, the photographer employee was allowed to have a spacious front row seat to himself over extending the seat to a guest passenger who needed it. The excursion on the catamaran and snorkeling were enjoyable. Food and service were very nice and appreciated. The return trip was a complete disaster experience. Again, there was over crowding, the AC did not reach the back of the van the car was filled with fly's. Knowing that we had 2.5 hours of travel ahead of us was discouraging but unavoidable and we had no choice but to suffer through it until we returned to the point of origin at the Dolphin adventure Center. Unfortunately, as we approached the city, we began to detour into residential neighborhood delivering passengers, one couple at a time to their personal homes and accommodations this added 1 hour and 45 minutes extra to our travel time making return trip almost 4 hours at best we felt like hostages in a very uncomfortable van. Total trip time 12 + Hours We missed our dinner reservation and were charged $40 for the no show. I would NOT recommend this trip to any of my friends!

Booked ahead for 4 people ($800), flight from Denver cancelled due to snow, so I cancelled tour 72 hours ahead of time (48 hours is their policy for full refund) and I have yet to see a refund. Day 57, still nothing! They ignore my emails, chats (see attached pic) and phone calls are scripted to tell you it takes 60 days for refund (not stated anywhere on website or documents) .
Also, don't book ahead, you can get tours, theirs included, discounted by at least 30% at any resort once you get to Cabo.
Turns out that their main attraction is a dolphinarium right in Cabo, where their tours start, if you're into supporting swimming with sad captive dolphins, book with them. Finally, they are a huge enterprise, which makes it even more inexcusable that they don't refund you.

We loved the morning we had, as soon as you step on board you are handed a mimosa, then greeted by Mario and the crew. After the obligatory stops at the Arch for pix etc. we immediately started seeing whales. Lucky enough to see many breaches and some fin slapping. Mario was outstanding, very knowledgeable and seemed to really enjoy talking about what we were experiencing. Have been on a few of these, this was the first to drop a mic into the water to listen to the whales, we loved that! Had a chance to chat w/ Mario, Luis the photographer and Joe the bartender; all very nice guys and glad to get to know them a little. The boat portion was a 5 even though on the water more like 2.5hrs than the 3hrs advertised; the lack of communication (admittedly partially my fault) not so good. We wanted the shuttle from San Jose but wanted to stay to shop, eat dinner etc. Was told last shuttle back was 3pm so told them we'd find our own way. Changed our mind as realized even paying $10 for just one way was still cheaper then getting a taxi so I emailed 3 days before tour asking if we could get on the shuttle. Didn't hear back so emailed day before the tour again saying we'd like the shuttle. Never heard back so paid $40 to get a taxi there. Then after the tour, while waiting for Luis and the pix to be done a man came by asking if we were waiting for the shuttle back, got to talking to him (Eduardo) and found out the last shuttle back was at 6PM. So I asked the desk if they would take us back to San Jose at 6, after she talked to someone else they said they would do that. Wasn't sure if they were gonna charge us or not but that never came up so they did do that for us.

We booked a tour to swim with whale sharks when we visit in April but decided to go with a private tour instead. Despite the assurance of free cancellation, I have sent three emails without response from the company. In process of disputing transaction through credit card company. Be aware.

I am 60 years old and have never done the activities included in this excursion. Are the activities too strenuous for a woman my age?

Definitely not if you are minimally active. The pace is slow on the short climbs. There were people who were over sixty, and under sixty and over weight and all did fine. Go for it and have fun!
