I took this tour with my daughter and one year old granddaughter. Captain Mark steered us to a number of pilot whale pods - we saw young and several pods on our tour on July 15, 2017. The winds were calm and we even spotted...More

Awesome boat. Smooth ride. Captain Mark has a great, friendly personality. Saw 6 to 8 Minke Whales multiple times and got into a pod of about 20 Pilot Whales close to the boat. And it's not all about whales great route along the shoreline to...More

Such nice people! Captain Mark wasn't on our boat, he was in the water with the group before us and waited with a group of whales for us to come, so we shouldn't have to find them again. Captain Gill was awesome and very informative....More

A great trip out. The Zodiac was a fun ride. Saw lots of whales, seals and birds. Stopped a beach only accessible by boat Very enjoyable and worth the money.

The people are very friendly and welcoming. The time on the ocean is fantastic. When I went out we saw a ton of minke whales, a few seals, and even some bald eagles. It is something you should check out.

Often when you read that something is "guaranteed" when travelling, you're a little sceptical. Don't be with this one! We saw over a dozen whales, as well as some seals on the rocks on the shore. We did the zodiac tour with Captain Gilles, and...More

We went on the 2:30pm tour and it was well worth it. The earlier tours spend more time scouting out where the whales are while the later tour reaps the reward by knowing where to go right away. Our tour guide was Gilles and he...More

Great experience for the family. Weather was great with calm seas and despite it being early in the season we floated amongst a pod of pilot whales. Capt Gilles skillfully guided us beside them so that we could see them above and below the water....More

My wife and I and two teenagers (15 & 18) went on the 2:30 zodiac tour on Wednesday, 6/7 with Gilles. I believe there were around twelve of us total and the zodiac is around 28' long, so there was plenty of room for everyone....More

Hi, thank you for your interest in Capt Mark's. We will be operating our Research Boat "Double Hookup" until the 30th of September and there are still whales. The only drawback is the windy weather that time of year which... More

Capt. Mark's boat is pretty big and stable. Everything depends on weather conditions on the day of your trip.
