My dream vacation and the best ever. I have been "whale waching" dozens of times at varous pacific coast beaches in CA and basically was always disappointed. At Kuyima absolutely every detail is perfect. The guides are sweet, knowledgeable and helpfu, the food is mostly fresh from the ocean and highgourmet quality featuring whle we were there, fish, oysters, scallops... More

Kuyima is a small camp ground at the end of the road in Baja, Mexico. It sits on the shores of San Ignacio Lagoon, and is totally set up for gray whale season, when the mothers give birth to their babies in the warm water of the lagoon. It's a long trip to get there, whether driving yourself or taking... More

We went to this bay to specifically watch (and hopefully pet) newly born whales (calves). The trip exceeded our expectations.we camped for four days right adjacent to the bay. The campground was exceptionally clean, staff was wonderful and helpful and the restaurant offerings for breakfast, lunch and dinner were very tasty. They also offer big tents and cabins. The boat... I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Kuyima Eco Tours or the experiences we had at the camp and in the bay visiting with the mommy and baby grey whales. If you are a nature lover, whale admirer, camper, Eco tourist, this place is for you. We loved every minute and cannot wait for next season.

This is a great company to help you experience one of the greatest adventures you will have. Petting a whale, and with many in our party, kissing a whale, is not soon forgotten. The launch area is very nice with restrooms, a nice restaurant, and lots of info.

The staff are great! We had delicious food lobster even one night! The cabanas were very nice with warm bedding. And the whales were magical.

Most of the reviews here tell you exactly what to expect with Kuyima - a top notch professional outfit, with friendly and knowledgeable guides. The boat trips out onto the lagoon are quite an experience (think of a bouncing speed boat with the occasional bucket of water being thrown over you, so please do bring good waterproof clothing and wet... As corny as that sounds it is more than true, once in a life time happening. The big guys were gone, Moms and Babes stay for some open sea lessons and they really like putting on the show, front center and up close, kissable close, yep, one of our shared pongas was delighted to a Kodak moment with a for... We had such a great experience with Kuyima during our visit. They got us booked into a tour the next day and arranged transportation to the bay as well. The folks in the office were nice, our driver was FANTASTIC the Captain great and the whales in the Bay incredible special. Giant, and gentle and curious. This was the highlight... More
