Can schedule Spanish lessons

We were able to schedule Spanish lessons two afternoons at this school. I'm sure we would have benefited from more lessons, but we will need to come back again.

It was my first immersion class, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I was impressed with the curriculum, the teachers and the setting, which is beautiful. The staff and faculty were all very pleasant and helpful. Jessica was my grammar teacher, and I appreciated her patience. My only suggestion is that the pronunciation class replace some of... More

I attended a two week session here and loved it! The emphasis was on conversation but reading, writing, and grammar were not ignored. Everyone was supportive and easy to work with. There are added field trips (I went to Guanajuato for the day) and cooking classes (I learned to make chiles rellenos - hands-on demos). Met some great people!! There... More

Our review is many months behind our first experience in August 2015! However, no less enthusiastic than we are to return this August 2016. My husband I attended and loved every class presented. The initial evaluation proved to be just what we both needed and helped us both the be in the classes we belonged. I loved the atmosphere and... More

This school was exactly what I had been looking for. I never thought as a kid that I would say "I love school!", but at AHA, I did. The teachers are great and present their lessons in a clear, understandable manner. I did the intensive program and learned new verb tenses and then in the grammer class, we focused on... More

My daughter attended a 3 week Spanish immersion school. The school placed her in a Mexican home. The family was delightful and prepared three meals a day for her. The cost was very reasonable and I intend to return next summer so that I can take Spanish classes

As a language teacher myself, I can swear this school is one of the best in Latin America. Great curriculum, teachers, host families, activities. After a month, I was functioning in Spanish!

The wife and I have taken the Level one here and also at Warren Hardy. Totally different approach to learning spanish. AHA focuses on in class drills where Hardy focuses on homework and the materials that accompany the course. AHA is more immersive with the instructor speaking little english and giving you 4 hours a day of instruction, Hardy again... More

I visited most of the schools in San Miguel before I selected the Academia Hispano Americana. You will not learn to speak fluent Spanish taking a one-hour class a day, no matter what other schools promise. It takes work and excellent teachers. I live in San Miguel. The Academia is widely considered that best school in town among those of... More

I just completed 4 weeks in the immersion Spanish study at Academia Hispano Americana. This is definitely the best language program I have done. The day consisted of 3 hours of language instruction, 1 hour pronunciation instruction, 1 hour conversation practice, and a lecture on Mexican history and culture in easy Spanish. The lessons were thorough and excellent, Javier was... More
