You have to be careful about all the unleashed dogs around here, especially pitbulls. But there is a great playground for kids, and it's just a very very nice place to stroll around. There's a bit of everything, even a basketball court.

Interesting to see a local park with activities for local residents in San Miguel. We saw a youth basketball game after dark and families in a playground. Nothing so spectacular about the park other than it gave a sense of the life for those who live full time in San Miguel de Allende. As a note, there was a playground... More

We stumbled into the park by accident while out walking one day and were so happy we did. There was an art show going on, which it sounds like happens frequently, and many other vendors selling anything from hand made jewelry to fresh fruit. The art was very SMA themed so interesting to see a local perspective on the city.... More

Beautiful spacious park, perfect for dog watching. Playground, birds, tropical plants, I didn't attend any activities here, just passing through as it was below the hacienda where I stayed.

Park Juarez is I believe the largest of the many parks and plazas in SMA. We went to the Candelario festival there to listen to music for the first time. We went back a few times just to hang out and relax. Easy walk from Centro and Instituto Allende area.

This park is usually full of activity. From children playing on the swings and spiders to older ones playing basketball and others taking zumba lessons on the weekends. Spring brings the Candelaria and vendors gather for two weeks to sell flowers, plants, herbs and trees to beautify our gardens.

This is a large park a few blocks from the Parroquia. We enjoy relaxing, reading, viewing the artwork on the weekends and watching people. Mike

This location in the middle of SMA provides a quiet place to rest, listen to the fountains and birds, or wander to view the visual art being displayed... maybe you want a more energetic atmosphere so you decide to listen to one of the many musicians who play, especially on the weekends..... then there is the children's playground where energy... Try to get to the Candelaria - flower festival. Wonderful blooms, herbs, pots and so on. You will see plants that you have not seen before and such a wide variety. It is packed with vendors. And don't forget to walk up the hill a bit and see the washing troughs.

This park is great to take a stroll to shop for art work or to bring your kids. Some paths have some basic workout equipment which was fun for my kids to practice on.
