    Art lovers dream
I love this old textile factory that's been turned into art galleries and boutiques. I could, and have, spent the entire day wandering in and out of galleries, stopping for a bite and a drink at one the cafes, and wandering some more. I've never visited without purchasing something and this most recent trip was no exception, my husband even got a tattoo! Highly recommend for art lovers and collectors.

Fantastic shopping for high quality goods all in one place
We went looking for art (there is so much art in one place) and walked away with beautiful fabrics...table cloth, place mats, napkins. There is so much to choose from (art, fabrics, furniture, accessories, gift items) that it is almost overwhelming. If you are destined for San Miguel de Allende, this is a "must" for anyone looking to decorate your home or office.

Highly Recommend for Those Who Hold Dear Art and Antiques
I was in San Miguel de Allende for a business meeting and during the only free time we had, I opted to visit this place on my own and I'm glad I did it. Though a bit outside downtown yet only of 10 to 15 minutes of walking distance, Fabrica La Aurora is definitely a must see if you are into art and antiques. This old factory is turned into a complex where you have art studios, galleries, antique shops, handcrafts shops and cafés and bistros. It's very different than the rest of the town, yet also very much in line with the overall spirit. You can get lost inside for hours and hours without being bored at all. It's like a labyrinth of rooms, you get in one, you get out from the other. It's really lovely. The things sold here are much higher quality than the rest of the town. I definitely recommend this place for a solid 2 hours of walk around (if you have more time, it's all the better).

    Delightful art venue
What a great venue. If you want to buy or view art or decorative objects mostly by Mexican artists go there. Located in an old converted factory building. Great way to spend half a day! It also has 2 very good cafe's within the place for a quick bite or drink.

    Art gallery galore
Have visited several times in the past few years and am always amazed and entertained and captivated by the vast array of art and furniture under one roof. Something for everyone. Tonight was the 20th annual art walk and the space was popping with wall to wall people checking out the gallery, drinking wine, sangria and margaritas as well as some tasty appetizers including empanadas. Wonderful music and awesome laid back vibe with everyone having a wonderful time. Another perfect night in SMA

Great Art in a Great Old Complex
This is a 'must see' for any locals or visitors. It is a large old factory, which is great to see by itself, but it has so many different and talented artists, in all price ranges. We have bought a few fantastic pieces of art and crafts, which we will always cherish.

Nice place to spend a couple hours
Nice place to visit and walk around and see many nice pieces of artwork. Especially loved the woodwork. There are many artists here to see and beautiful things. No air conditioning and was very hot inside. The restaurants are great for lunch.

This was our second visit to San Miguel de Allende and Fabrica Aurora. Both are amazing places. The art and town are so diverse. Very cosmopolitan for a small city. I would highly recommend the experience!

Definitely a must in SMA. Such interesting artists - listen to their stories. Great little restaurants for coffee and a snack. Wear comfortable shoes - this place is huge.

Seriously, this is just an average space. Cool idea of putting all the individual spaces in an old textile mill, but there were only a small handful of interesting shops/galleries. The prices are way too high for what is being offered and seems to be tailored to tourists with money. There is nothing "local" about this space at all. Just a bunch of overpriced galleries with marginal works.
