My wife and I, with a small group of fellow travelers, hiked into the Cusarare Falls, guided by some delightful and helpful Tarahumara Indian children. The hiking trail is scenic. From the parking lot to the falls, there are stands where Tarahumara women sell art (beautiful baskets, applique work, carvings etc). The falls are not Niagara or Iguassu! But they... More

It is a nice walk to the view point and no hassle from locals. If you are more fit you could go down the 240 steps to the river. I am sure that in the rainy season the waterfall must look great as there would be more water falling and giving a better view.

The walk to this waterfall (either 500 m or 1km, depending on where you park the vehicle) is so beautiful. It is an easy track in pine woodlands. We arrived at about 8.30 am before the large numbers of visitors arrived and before the masses of stalls of Indian crafts were set up. It was quiet, fresh, peaceful, with birdsongs.... More

Great Hike in a beautiful place. A leisurely hike to the falls with native craft shopping along the way. The hike to the bottom of the falls is composed of cement steps, so more of a challenge on the way up. Really nice!

Is not as tall as Basaseachi but it is worth it. You have a footpath to go down to the waterfall. The breeze, the water, everything is beautiful. Wear comfy shoes because it is slippery and probably an extra change of clothes, if you are brave enough you can get into the river.

Scenic drive to falls and this visit will not be disappointing. The park area is beautiful. The falls, not huge, but lovely.

We visited the Falls on Christmas Day as part of a 3 day tour of the Copper Canyon and Batopilas. It's an easy hike to get to the Falls and the view is spectacular. Make sure you go down to the base of the Falls for a brilliant view, steps lead down to the base, so it's an easy path.... More

We did the .5 mile trek to see the falls, well worth the walk and fresh air. Other than rainy season, very small flow of water. Very picturesque, good stop, the river had ice in places.

There are several ways to approach the area. The most popular may be over crowded with cars and a more distant car park requires a challenging hike to reach to falls.
