Francesco, Franca & Maria are hosts extraordinaire.
An unforgettable experience of exquisite food, views & hands-on education. You will never think of olives & olive oil the same again!
Grazie mille, ed arrivederci! 🙌

We were traveling through Sicily in part to try different olive oils, and stayed at an Airbnb. We asked the owner for recommendations. The owner was Francesco, who offered to show us his olive trees the next morning. Not only did he show us "our tree" (apocryphal, of course), he took us to the local mill where he presses his olives to make Amodeo's fabulous oil. He had brought some bread from the local baker, specially crafted to go with freshly pressed oil. Thick slices drenched with newly pressed oil was heavenly. We have purchased wonderful oil from Francesco several times since then. We look forward to seeing Francesco on a future trip back to Sicily.

We have been 3 times and each time it gets better....Frank and crew are the best and there is nothing like his Olive Oil....and, oh my, do they take great care of you while you are there! I would not think of missing the farm when we go to Sicily, and so far, we haven't!

If Disneyworld had an olive grove, this would be it. We had so much fun learning about olives, olive oil, and local history. The lunch they prepared was epic. Some of the best we had on our trip.

We can't wait to buy the new harvest olive oil for holiday gifts.

We love visiting Sicily and 2021 was the first time we did the lunch and olive oil tasting (and had a ball trying various harvesting methods!) at Francesco Amadeo’s farmhouse in the olive groves. It was a truly memorable day—not just the delicious, fresh food and olive oil, but his enthusiasm in describing olive cultivation and life in the Belice valley both before and after the 1968 earthquake that changed life forever in this ancient agricultural region. We have been back 4 times, because our friends and family members were interested to learn about the best olive oil we’ve ever tasted. Cannot say enough good things about Frank’s good humor and hospitality!

We spent a wonderful afternoon with Frank at his beautiful farm with our family. We were traveling between Trapani and Agrigento and found this hidden gem for the perfect day.

We were looking for something unique, local, education, and fun. Amodeo's Farm checks all of these boxes. When we arrived at his farm, a huge spread for antipasti was already laid out. The food was delicious and abundant! (Frank packed up the food for us to take home and we ended up canceling our dinner reservation and having the leftovers.) Everything was prepared with his olive oil - even the strawberries for dessert!

Frank showed us around his olive grove and taught us how to harvest olives. All part of a relaxing day. Then, we capped the day off with a fantastic lesson on tasting olive oil. I did not know what to expect, but this was so well done. And Frank's passion for olive oil is contagious.

If you want a great day with the family, I would plan a visit!

I didn't know olive oil could taste this amazing!!!

We had a SPECTACULAR lunch and tour of Amodeo's Farm. The food was fabulous and it was wonderful to learn all about olive oil and the history of the farm. Frank was so incredibly generous with his food, time and knowledge. He was wonderful with our kids, providing them with straw hats, toys in the field, and tools so they could pretend to participate in the harvest. He was also patient with us when we needed to take a break in the middle of the visit so my partner could do some work.

This is a wonderful and special day and fabulous opportunity to get to know a very special industry and person. Don't be fools like us and only buy two bottles of olive oil to bring home!!! Stuff your suitcases!!!!!
