August 2017 and the church is at present closed to tourists. The roof is receiving urgent repairs and is covered in plastic and scaffolding. The chancel is opened for worship on Sundays. I imagine the cost to be fantastic so if you can afford a...More

A lovely quaint Church - while worth visiting. It has a calm and peaceful feeling about it and you can just feel the history in the atmosphere.

A very confusing page as the pictures and map refer to St Wilfrid's Ribchester whilst most of the comment to St Wilfrid's Preston, two totally different churches of course.
