Well-preserved tower carefully adapted as a location for events, tastings and as a symbol of the town.
The view from atop the tower is, as you might imagine, beautiful. The rolling hills cover every corner of the view, the vineyards, the hazelnut groves, the (few) remaining woods, the villages that pop up here and there.
We had a tasting accompanied by Isabella, four delicious glasses and lots and lots of information about the wine and the area. In the end it all lasted hours, yet I would have stayed longer, to find out even more. The cost was €30, including the visit to the tower.

We returned to Barbaresco to see the tower and its panorama. The 360° view of the hills, the vineyards and the path of the Tanaro river is spectacular. Maybe a little expensive 6 euros to climb the tower but in my opinion once in a lifetime is enough... In the village you can have an aperitif and taste the local wines.

Very nice place, few people in September
The view is magnificent, going up the tower doesn't do much given the price (€6/adult)
Although it is very well maintained.
Fully accessible elevator
A little extra for the bar which offers wines and charcuterie cheese platters with excellent value for money

Beautiful tower right in the center of the town, convenient for everyone as even wheelchair users can go up thanks to the lift.
The view is spectacular, but in my opinion, €6 is perhaps a little too much.
Still worth seeing.

I read a lot of reviews complaining about the 6 euro admission!

Wait, I repeat. 6 euros! What are they? 2 coffees and a water the bar next door?

But then no one forces you to come in, the prices are displayed outside. And the place would be worth a lot more than 6 euros. Start turning that maybe open your mind! And don't just go out on Sundays!

An elevator leads to the top of the tower. From up there there is a panoramic view of the area. You can take the wine tasting option at the top of the tower. We walked part of the way back down. Nothing special to see. Apparently, you can rent a room in the tower for tastings. The idea is nice.
6 euros for the elevator round trip, I find it a bit expensive.

I am a boy in a wheelchair and I managed to climb to the top of the tower and enjoy the breathtaking view it offers us.
The staff is very friendly and willing to help. To get to the tower, for those in wheelchairs, there is a comfortable stair lift, and then just a few meters of cobblestones. To go up to the terrace there is a large lift.
I recommend everyone to climb the tower to be enchanted by the landscape.

This medieval tower is a definite must-see. Dominating the Langhe region, one can climb to the top and view the entire countryside spread out on all sides with the Alps in the distance. The town is small but there is a nice wine bar close to the tower. I really enjoyed my experience at Barbaresco.

Walk up the hill to the tower of this beautiful little town. Buy your ticket and a glass of vino and go up the elevator. They will bring your wine up to you shortly. This is an amazing 360 view. It was a highlight of our trip.
