It is a spectacular place! The sand was hot but lots of it and lots of fun. Go early, it's cooler. You rent boards to slide down for $20 but you can keep them all day. Take an umbrella for shade cause there is none....More

Yes, I have seen a few dogs at the park but they should be on leashes. If you want to know for sure, I can check with someone at the park. The surf is up right now.
