We were passing Muizenberg on our way to Stellenbosch and decided to look for a spot to have sushi. Navigated to the first option, which was this one, and wow! Such an interesting store with some of the coolest, artsy items to buy. The sushi cafe is situated towards the back of the store. Sushi was really good, but what we loved most was the vibe, decor and interesting things around the store. We spent more time there than planned looking at all the items. What a gem to stumble upon. Definitely worth a visit!

I REALLY was trying to visit Masque Theatre. However, it was still closed.
So I took a slow easy walk to the nearest COFFEE bar. I walked about inside the shop which sells all sorts of interesting things and clothing.
Then I had a chocolate brownie, a cuppa and a huge biscuit.
I know the two waitron from two different interesting GEMs in Muizenberg. However, it was our first time being so relaxed and comfy together...I stayed for an hour and a half
I read my FORTUNE cookies four times. Those slips of paper contain such interesting WRITING..
And I enquired about the alcoholic TEA, so will be back to buy RUM TEA.
I told the waitron about a comedy show I am The opening act for on this coming Monday and Friday...
I could say so much more. However, I promised not too 💖📝

Best sushi bar in Cape Town. Surrounded by funky shop of skulls and fashion. The katana roll, deep fried California salmon rainbow roll, is a master chef experience at a fraction the price. Friendly sushi chefs and waiting staff. Five stars and worth the drive if you're not in the deep south.

My grandson wanted to visit there so we took him for the experience. We had good coffee and he enjoyed the music. Definitely a place for a younger generation.

We overheard a customer screaming at the staff this evening. We were impressed with how well the staff managed a hostile and seemingly unfounded situation and we wanted to vouch for the excellent service we received this evening and on other occasions. the food is consistently good and on this occasion it was the friendly staff that managed to turn around a sour atmosphere. What a wonderful team! Thanks guys :)

I search for good food. I search for excellent customer service. I search for great prices. I am by profession a procurement manager and always looking for great deals. Who would have known that when I walked into Sobeit...I would of found all of the above. Right on my doorstep. The ambience is easy. The music is relaxing. The visuals instore is jaw dropping. But the highlight was ...the good sushi. The value for money. The great coffee... origin. The Charlies of course. They were so accommodating and super friendly. Edson...the sushi chef outdone himself. I was very surprised how well the dishes were presented and portions were a very good size. For a table of 5 with 3 platters and Americanos for all..the bill took the me by surprise as I expected and budgeted for much more...I felt compelled to leave a handsome tip. It's intimate setting and good music made this one of the the better places I found myself lately. Besides fine dining of course...I would recommend this place to all sushi lovers. Btw...I will be there next week and I shall return ..

Party of 11 loved, loved the evening. The sushi was out of this world, extremely friendly waiter, staff and manager Alex. The service was super fast. Everyone in the party, that had not been here before, said it was a "Hidden Gem" and besides the sushi loved the atmosphere and space. It was a very special evening. We pre-ordered for the whole table, which was a recommendation from Alex. Would advise this if you have a large party. Bring you own wine/alcoholic drinks and no corkage is charged. In addition to all of the above it is really good value for money, especially considering the high standard of the food. This was a very special evening celebrating a Birthday!

The sushi was below average. Rice was overpowered with vinegar. Not sure if it was just a bad night. The food visually looked good and the price was relatively inexpensive. The sushi venue is found in an unusual space shared with a store that has fun and funky goods. I enjoyed perusing the store and it was delightful and fun. The decor is great inside if they up their sushi game it could be a great hang out

Our server, Alfa, was the epitome of hospitality. Polite, friendly and welcoming! The best sushi I've had in a long while, in the most exciting and innovative space. Reasonably priced. Consider this place a hidden gem.
