Sian Ka’an is a 1200 mile lagoon and protected UNESCO Heritage site accessible only via a tour. Just 15 minutes from Tulum, we had an awesome day kayaking through a completely secluded and huge landscape of mangrove forests. The mangroves offer shelter from the wind and make for an easy paddle with the highlight of this trip at sunset when... More

Yucatan Outdoors is the real deal. Wonderful experience on the sunset kayak tour. The guides were eager to give a lot of interesting information, but also willing to just sit there quietly in soak in all the beauty. We paddled for hours, not just a quick in and out. Beautiful tour through the mangroves and we were the only people... More

Cannot say enough good things about this experience. The knowledge of and respect for the Mayan culture and the environment was apparent throughout. I loved the fact that they only take small groups (6 people). Antonio went above and beyond to provide us with a unique experience. The concept he has for sustainable eco-conscious tourism is refreshing and I know... More

This tour is fully deserving of all its praise. We did the kayaking tour and the snorkelling of the mangrove cenote. Whilst the visibility wasn't great in the mangrove we still managed to see a crocodile and Antonio provided amazing knowledge about every part of it. The kayaking was superb and we saw dozens of species of birds all that... More

I did the cenote snorkeling / sunset kayaking tour, and I can't recommend Yucatan Outdoors highly enough. Everything was absolutely amazing - from the gorgeous scenery, high quality equipment and kayaks, delicious food, breadth of expertise during the tour (I learned so much!), and the incredible tour guides. Antonio, Raul, and Jessica were such a remarkable, kind, interesting, and knowledgeable... More

Absolutely stunning adventures in kayak, sunset, birds and walks on the beach. The guides are well informed and know a lot and the landscapes are breathtaking. They provided us with food and always accommodated our every need. Taking a tour in the cenotes was exciting and everyone is very friendly. I definitely recommend this for any adventure seekers!

My husband and I had a fantastic introduction to the beautiful Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve through a snorkel trip in an open cenote and then a kayak trip across the lagoons to view an amazing variety of birds and mangroves! Our guide, Antonio, accompanied by Jessica and Raul were incredibly knowledgeable of every aspect of the area. We ended the... More

I took my three college age kids on a vacation to spend some time together before they all go their separate ways and we decided to do the sunset kayaking tour with Yucatan Outdoors. It was absolutely amazing - my family all enjoyed every minute of it! Kayaking through the mangroves in the lagoon to see a wide variety of... More

The scenario is brilliant. What sets Yucatan outdoors apart are the people. The ease of setting this up, as well as the the experience and knowledge you are given made this my favorite experience to date traveling in Mexico. The food was excellent, they accommodated for vegan/gluten free and still made a sensational meal on the beach. I would agree... More
