Good equipment and the very professional guide named Marc made this trip to the cenotes "the pit" and "dos ojos" a fun day. The cenote diving itself was not as spectacular as I expected, but that´s not the fault of the dive shop! I compared some prices of other dive shops and 3 dives US$165 was an average price for... Amazing cenotes. Even better managed centre. They were extremely safety conscious and I ended up learning a lot on my dives, gaining part-certification for my advanced course. Marc Green was a brilliant instructor - diligent and good fun. Highly recommended.

Me and my friends did our diving Open Water Course with the dive center. Our instructor was MARC and i can highly recommend him! He took us all the fear from diving and learned us during 4 days how to dive. The equipment is clean, new and i never had any doubts. I came back to do a Cenote Dive... More

My partner and I signed up for Advanced open water diving course at Motmot in Tulum during our trip two weeks ago. Currently it's the quiet season so we were the only students that week. The office/school is well equipped. Tanks and suits/ BCDs are all in good condition. What made the course/ experience so beneficial was our instructor Marc... More

We went on 3 dives in the Cenotes with Mark a few days ago. When we first went in to ask about trips, Amber was extremely helpful and gave us a good overview of safety practices as it was our first cavern dive experience. We dived The Pit to 30m, which was so different to any sea diving and incredible.... More

We dove with Motmot diving and enjoyed our experience. Amber (in the shop) was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Ahmed (our guide) was the same. Equipment is in good order and their practices are very safe. The Pit is spectacular and a must-do for any dive enthusiast, Dos Ojos is also an awesome dive. Prices are pretty high, but thats the... Found Motmot by walking along main road in Tulum. Had done some research on other dive operators but after visiting Motmot dive shop (I checked out their dive kit and compressor and all good) and speaking to Sebastian for 15 mins decided to do day Cenote diving. Chose 3 tank dive (the Pit, and 2 at Dos Ojos as my... More

I found Motmot quite accidentally - just walking along Avenida Tulum, basically for no reason :) Suddenly we stopped in front of Motmot as a friend of mine wanted to buy a mask. She didn't buy one, yet I ended up talking to their staff for 45 minutes, laughing all the time, getting finally my OWD upgrade and some additional... More

I was in Tulum in March 2014. Dive I was two days after three dives. The first time I was with Sebastian (I hope the name is correct). I was lucky and I was the only dive with him . The day was cool and dives were very nice and quiet . The first dive was a bit challenging as... More
