It is a good place to swim, mid-range tasty eats
Until we discovered Playa Pescadores, this was the beach we visited. The beach per se is full with sargassum - no bad smell at least. Please note that this is very common in the area and you can´t blame the restaurant. IThje sand t is very rocky but still you can swim once you pass the entrance to the sea. The restaurant was good, tasty food, great service. We ordered from salad, to a whole fish, and it was good. The lemon pie was terrible. It is a very small public beach, nice for spending a few hours. We went for lunch, twice.

First time staying in Tulum, and glad to have picked this perfect little boutique hotel by the beach. The staff made you feel welcome from the time you checked in to check out. There was one waiter that stood out the most and his name is Andrea Garcia he went out of his way to make sure me and my family were well taken care of while we were lounging by the beach. He even went out of his way to help me and my husband book a snorkeling tour to swim with the turtles. The food here was also good enough options to satisfy everyone’s pallet. If your planning your trip in the next couple months just be aware there is road work happening in this area and you will have to enter through the Mayan ruins to access this property. A fee will be charged but it’s not two expensive they charge only by how many people are in the vehicle. We are a family of 3 so only $12.00.

    Snorkel tour Playa Pescadores
Snorkel tours from the beach. Scooter rental $600 pesos Park entrance $55 pesos Parking $200 pesos 45 minute tour 400-500 pesos Welcome to Tulum the most overpriced, tourist gouging town on the planet. This review is about the tour. A huge disappointment. Several companies offer it. They boat you out to view the ruins from the water and then go to the so called reef. There is no reef!!! It was 12-15 tour boats rafted together with some guides feeding manta rays. 15-20 minutes in the water. I had to ask for flippers and the driver had to put down his I phone, get off his chair, walk to the bow and throw the flippers at me in the water. Sorry to inconvenience you amigo!!. In an effort to salvage the tour. We broke from the group to look for the reef. A few corals, no fish, muddy. Back in the boat gringo we have a schedule to keep. What a joke. Tour in puerto Morelos was 4 times longer, same price and there is a reef. We used Paco tours but they all do the same tour. The beach is nice and well maintained

We went on the snorkel tour with Playa Villa Pescadores and it was very disapointing. tour was supposed to be two hours, in the end was just one hour 10 minutes. we were supposed to snorkel for 40 minutes and in the end only got 15/20 minutes, the captain was cranky and the only thing we got to see was one tutrle and the same three stingrays. we were not allowed to go over to see fish at the reef right next to it. we had done a tour like this two years ago with another company and it was amazing. this one was NOT true to advertisement and very disappaointing. way too expensive for such a short tour.
in addition, our son forgot his gopro box with items in it. went back to get it next morning and it was gone. neither the captain nor the helper kept it for us and we are wondering what happened to it. overall big disappointment

This is an amazing beach and much quieter than Playa Paraiso. I highly recommend it as well as the last restaurant as you face toward the ruins, something with a Z 😊

Firstly, we went and ventured through the Tulum ruins which was lovely. Then after completing that we were told that we would get a boat ride to swim with turtles and fish. Included was also a soft drink and some history on the Tulum ruins. The boat ride went for only 40mins. The history lesson literally was for a minute! All for the cost of $120AUD for 1 adult and 2 children).
Then my children (both 10) were fitted with flippers and snorkels. Unfortunately, both my children lost a flipper each. I told the guides on the boat straight away apologising as I was embarrassed but obviously it was an accident. They became very aggressive and said I need to pay them $10usd per flipper which I did. What I was most upset about was that they started talking amongst themselves saying gringo elstupido! I know what that means and that was extremely rude and unprofessional! Awful experience!

A very Nice Beach. Went on a boat ride with the Pescadores tours, snorkling at the reef. Amazing experience. Back at the Beach we Got lunch at the Pescadores villa Beach, it was delicious, made from fresh ingredients and served at your sunbed at the Beach. Very Nice and service minded Crew. Thanks to Ivan.

I love this beach club, it’s my favorite in Tulum. You are off the main beach so the people selling stuff cannot get to you, They have amazing food, the shrimp gobernador tacos! Yum! The service is the best! Joel was our server, he was patient and attentive. My friend and I had a really great times thanks to him and the rest of the staff, and they taught us a little Spanish. It was a great time!

Careful with the company you choose can be aggressive and tourism careless, trying to sell 45mins snorkel and the boat to the ruins but then they don’t give even 10mins to snorkel and when you just get to the ruins they say come on take a picture because we go back already
And I repeat they are aggressive

Playa Pescadores is a part of beautiful Playa Paraiso, one of the best Mexican beaches. It's free with a lot of shade beneath the palms.
Hire a boat to take you see the ruins from the sea - amazing, just negotiate and haggle the price.
