We flew here from Michigan for our honeymoon. We went through Apple Vacations and stayed at the Barcelo Maya Palace. Our shuttle to the catamaran was included in the package. My wife and I had a great time snorkeling and the lunch was good. We did the 4 hour block from 8:30am to 12:30pm which was perfect because it wasn’t too hot. Also, this time block is great because the boat isn’t packed with people. I’ve never snorkeled before and to be honest, I was quite nervous. It ended up being a great time and we all drank a lot of alcohol which made the price even more worth it. It’s an inexpensive excursion and was by far the best day of the week for us. The staff was very friendly. Special shout-out to Ivan who was very friendly, accommodating, and played great music. We ended up purchasing photos from a photographer on board which was also inexpensive. Thank you!! We won’t ever forget the trip.…

I booked this tour the day of because another activity was canceled. I contacted them to make sure transportation could still be arranged given and they confirmed they could. I waited 30+ minutes past the confirmed time at the designated meeting point and had to call twice before they arrived. Got to the activity to be told the paddle boarding and snorkeling wouldn’t be available due to the weather. This was the most frustrating part because NOTHING was said about this when I booked a few hours prior and they waited until you’re already there to tell everyone this. There was also no discount for these activities being canceled. It was either reschedule activity altogether, cancel or just continue without. Most of the crew were nice and friendly but definitely felt like because I was by myself and not drinking they were less accommodating to me. I would wait twice as long for drinks and while others were getting entire photo shoots I got one picture by myself and a few with a group I met on the tour. The only reason I gave more stars is because despite all this the location is absolutely stunning and it was nice to sail for the first time.…

My husband and I booked this excursion while on our Honeymoon at Unico 20°87°. We had a fabulous time on the catamaran and our tour guide Ivan & all the assistants were FABULOUS and made the experience so fun. Although the water was choppy, we were able to sail out to the reefs and snorkel. We then headed back to a more calm inlet area and hung out on the mat on the water and danced around to the music on the boat. We loved the open bar feature and the food was delish. So worth the money!! We loved that we only had to travel 10 min from our resort as well. …

We had such a blast on this excursion, even with not snorkeling due to the choppy waters. The group we were with had great energy and the staff on the boat were just as fun. Hats off to Diego and Clemens for being such great hosts and delivering the shots in the water and making our experience completely unforgettable!…
