Pray for some rain and just get ready to get WET and MUDDY it’s hot out there and can see how it will be very dusty we got lucky and still had some mud puddles to drive into. It’s a blast and well worth the money and you leave feeling you get something personal out of it and also provide some help others that are less fortunate. The Cenote was a cool break but watch for mosquitoes. I suggest pre paying for the pick up and drop off it’s worth the cost. We brought a change of clothes but everything was wet so put everything in a plastic bag be warned. We just went through a terrible hurricane IDA last week and this was well needed break from Louisiana. I was a bit skeptical about the excursion because the taxi van pulled into a total trashed place and felt we made a terrible mistake but just went forward believe in the reviews and was not let down so happy we booked just sad we couldn’t speak any French 😂

Awesome and fun excursion. Kind of wish we could have gone faster. Abraham and Jean Pierre were our tour guides. They were very informative and knowledgeable of the Mayan culture and history. Since my wife picked this tour, I let her drive and she really enjoyed it. Be sure to change into your swimsuit at the beginning of the trip where the bathrooms are, there’s no place to change once you get to the cenotes. During the buggy tour our guides kept a close eye on the group to ensure no one got lost. I would have preferred to skip the Mayan village portion and would have rather paid $5 extra and spent the time driving the buggy. Although Jean Pierre and Abraham stated there was no requirement to purchase the food bags for the villagers, I felt their need for assistance was overstated. When I gave the bag to the female villager, I noticed she had an iPhone X in her pocket. (Which is the same version my wife currently has) The villagers shared some food (empanadas) and homemade watermelon juice. I didn’t drink the juice myself, as I have concerns about the local water. The cenote swim was cool and refreshing. Abraham retrieved a piece of ancient Mayan pottery from the bottom of the cenote, showed it to us, and shared the history of the Mayan offering ceremony. We recommend this excursion for both couples and families. Be sure to bring bug spray!

Great trip with fun guides! Best part is going to the Mayan village, meeting the people and how incredibly grateful they are to receive a $5 bag of groceries! This trip is a must.

Me and My friend absolutely had A-blast. From the hiking to the riding to meeting the people at the Mayan village, it was absolutely amazing. I loved the visit to the beautiful cenote and swimming in the refreshing water. The guides were professional, nice, and knowledgeable. When I come back to playa del Carmen, I will definitely do the buggy tour again with the company.
