Don’t do a tour. I took a cab, if you do that walk up to 10th ave to grab taxi. Don’t do it by ferry more expensive. You can find JT Riviera Experiencias on Facebook set it up with them they will take great care of you. I used them a lot when I spent 6 months there. They speak English.
Just walk up to by tickets for Cenote. It was 500 pesos (about $20usd). Tickets can be bought online through there website also. You I’ll be glad you did it. Have fun!
