Fifth Avenue, Playa Del Carmen is a fun adventure in shopping. Be prepared to be hassled by the merchants in a lot of the stores. They will come out of the shops trying to get you in to to shop. You will have to continue...More

If you like to shop and strike a bargain with people then you'll probably like 5th Avenue. There are also restaurants, currency exchanges, excursion sellers and etc. I regret not trying some of the restaurants. It also appears to be very safe with police armed...More

Okay...if you do this shopping stroll at 5TH Avenue I can make it safer, cheaper, and more fun rather than as some have written who were deeply offended or annoyed about being hassled relentlessly during their shopping/walk for about 20 city blocks at 5TH Avenue....More

I agree with the previous reply. Walmart will be your best bet. 30th Avenue is only five blocks west of Fifth Avenue. You can also try Mega Store in the same area. I believe both have delivery services. Also, keep in mind... More
