We had numerous people hype up Xcaret, but we weren't overly impressed. It was expensive (approximately $150 per person). We were staying at Secrets Playa Mujeres, so the bus ride was about an hour and a half. And that was a pretty miserable hour and a half! Swimming in the underground rivers was our favorite activity. We were glad we... More

The river caves was spectacular. The life jackets are cheap and illfitting, I was scolded for removing mine for ease of swimming. If you are a strong swimmer it will seem a bit "controlled" to you. The life jackets leave you either swimming on your back or face first. Sooo if i were going back I would pick up my... More

It's an amazing structure , with lots of local culture and care of animals , the park works very synchronized is very pleasant, swimming in the river is an amazing experience. From My Perspective, this park is more tourist oriented, perfect for little kids and grand parents, if you want a deeper experience go for Eco Tours that are more... More

We had a private dinner in the river area, it is amazing how you reach this place. I wished we could have had more time as I'm sure there was more amazing things to see. What I did see made me want to come back. Be prepared, it does get a little warm/humid.

Xcaret is a very nice man made theme park. I don't really know why everyone says you need multiple days to see everything. My wife and I spent a half day at the park and saw everything including the shows. The the river canal is very cool and is by far the highlight of the park during the day. The... More

Apart from our dolphin experience, we were really disappointed by the park. You pay a lot of money to enter, and then nearly all of the other attractions are charged extra.
