We took advantage of the free city walking tour that starts at 9:30. It is a great way to spend an hour and the guide we had was very knowledgable and gave us a much better understanding of the city. Would recommend.

I went to the Merida city tourism office twice. Both times there was just one young man on duty, much more interested in texting than attending to this visitor. The only piece of information I got was a tourist map to central Merida. I was...More

I enjoyed the free daily tours organized outside the Tourism Office. The guide spoke good English and did not go too far away from downtown. He answered everyone`s questions promptly.

Good place to stop into for info. There are English speakers, if needed. They helped me find English speaking tour guides for the ruins.

Every weekday morning a bilingual (Spanish/English) walking tour leaves from this office and visits the major...More

Hello! I would like to know if you enter to the City hall, Montejo's house, Government Palace, Saint Ildephone Cathedral, and the City Museum as part of the tour or if you just pass by walking. Thanks in advance.

The cruise lines plan excursions to Celestun and Uxmal so they may also plan trips to Merida which is closer than Celestun to the Progresso port.
