I went on the cenotes tour today and could not have been more pleased. Our guide, Alejo, was a well connected, very knowledgeable and gracious local man. The use of local transport adds to the authenticity of the xperience. The three cenotes we visited were wonderful, not crowded and entirely refreshing.

This was my favourite tour in the Merida area. We met up with Gustavo and had a leisurely stroll to the market to begin shopping for the ingredients for our meal. Along the way he told us about points of interest. It was great fun to shop in the market and to have Gus tell us the names of some... More

My girlfriend and I booked the cenote tour weeks before arriving in mexico and we are not the type who enjoy the average tourist venture. I was almost dreading the tour because I was having so much fun in Mexico without the help of any guide. After getting breakfast we went to go meet our tour group at the specified... More

Our tour guide Alejo took our small group of 4 to the local traditional market where we picked up the main ingredients for our Mexican feast. Whilst at the local market Alejo explained the various fruits, vegetables, spices and the history of the market. We later caught a bus to Dona Bertha's house where we were warmly welcomed and we... My adult son and I had a great day on the Cenote tour with our guide Alejo. He has such a wonderful personality and great knowledge of the area, plants, history, and people. We were fortunate enough to be the only two on the tour and Ricardo, who was our moto-taxi driver, was very considerate and friendly as we made... More

This was a wonderful trip from start to finish. Each cenote was unique , and I always find the water temperature perfect no matter the weather outside. We happened to be there on a cloudy day, which made it comfortable riding on motorized bicycle carts. We ate at a local woman's home in the afternoon, which was a nice experience.... More

We love mixing it up with the locals. In fact this is why we travel. Our cooking class tour was really interesting and fun. Just loved that Alejo was so informed and spoke excellent English. We will do something different with him next time we come down. thank you for a great day. Rusty and Judy Mellen
