I actually heard this place through a youtube video and had to verify it for myself. My kids and I enjoyed and had a really great time at the waterpark. Compared to the other waterpark on the way to Progreso beach (Rio Salvaje, which is much older) this one was much cleaner, the waterslides were well maintained, the facilities are just fine (They lacked of beach chairs, they only had regular chairs), the lazy river although on the very "lazy" side for the water current does the job. The splash pad with the big water bucket is just like any other, great. The park has lifeguards every where and though on the picky side, they do reinforce security protocols. The place has a small restaurant/snack place with affordable prices to grab a bite and a drink (no alcohol serve in the park). In addition to the waterpark, they also have an aviary and butterfly pavilion included in the entrance fee. Restroom facilities not super fancy at all, but clean and spacious. All in all I found it to be a great option to go with family and kids considering Merida gets very hot. Entrance was $80 pesos (cheap!). The main draw is that it is far only if one doesn't have a car. I believe a public bus might go there but who knows about the timings. The vegetation in the park is that of small/low, it suggest to bring sandals because the walk paths get really hot at parts (although my kids were more into going up and down in the slides to complain about that) I totally recommend it.
