Some fellow travelers told us about this cheap snorkeling option. We saw so many fish and it was only $70 pesos.... little more for life jacket and fins. I wish I had my water shoes as the rocks and shells going out can be very...More

Unfortunately we found this place towards the end of our holiday, so we were only able to go a couple of times. For a very reasonable price of 70 pesos per person, compared to Playa Norte which is about 250 each for a sun lounger!...More

Only opened at 10 and closed at 18.00. The place has great shade and loungers for relaxing and a small beach with easy water access. Snorkelling was safe and there were enough fish to keep everyone interested for a while.

This place is small and cozy, food is excellent and cheap. The servers were pleasant and friendly. If you want to spend a day swimming, snorkeling, don't go any further. Our second time there, we will be back for sure.

70 pesos to snorkel----feed the fish...you cant beat this place. Fish literally jumping out of the water. Lots of starfish, some sand dollars.... make sure you swim everywhere as over to the left was a ton of larger more diverse fish

We took the ferry to Isla Mujeres from Cancun and ended up staying the whole day at Garrafon de Castilla! It's about a 20 min cab ride from the ferry terminal (cost 100 pesos) and the entrance fee for the beach club was 70 pesos...More

Visited to snorkel mostly. Entrance fee of 70 pesos. Snorkeling was just okay, weather wasn't great, so hard to swim against the swells, just a few fish...until I decided to buy food. Then it was a frenzy of fin. A very entertaining frenzy. There is...More

This small beach area has a restaurant and patio bar and beautiful gardens on a hillside. The views are gorgeous. It is relatively inexpensive and worth visiting for snorkeling off the shore. I recommend bringing your own snorkeling gear as the stuff they rent out...More

Yes, used mask, mouth piece and flippers (the flippers for an extra charge, but I don't think it was too much). Next time though, we'll probably take our own - at least the mouth piece.
