Great diving experience!

We had a great time for the discover scuba diving tour. Two tanks, one at the museum and one at the reefs. Instructions are clear and with patience.

We went on a dive at the underwater museum. We booked the day before and they were honest about the recent conditions - because of a storm they explained that this could lead to waves on the water and a bit of motion sickness. Throughout the whole experience we felt safe and taken care of. The groups here are quite... More

This was the first time I ever scuba dived. Pedro took his time and worked through everything with us prior to taking us out. I had a little trouble calming my nerves and equalizing as we started to descend. Pedro took his time working through it with me till we got to the bottom. Once we got to the museum,... More

We discovered Mundaca Divers through their strong reviews on Trip Advisor. Received a quick response from Tony via email and we booked a Whale Shark excursion with Eduardo in the store in downtown Isla. As with many of the Dive outfits on Isla, the Whale Shark excursions are outsourced to various boat captains with the appropriate permits for the excursion.... More

I booked a diver trip with Mr. Antonio the owner of this shop a month in advance and he gave a price of 90 dlls for person I ask so many question bc it was supposed to be my first time diving I clearly told him I had never been diving and also that I don't pretend to expert doing... More

Don't dive with anyone else!! This dive shop is THE premier dive shop on the island...but reasonable. No-one will take better care of your needs. Not only are they professional, know when and where to dive at the best times, they are the MOST accommodating and friendly dive shop with the best captains on the island. Other shops will promise... In the past 6 years I have logged 53 dives and 3 whale shark trips with Mundaca Divers. I have been to many islands and Mundaca is by far the best. Due to the recent hurricane in Belize it did affect the water conditions, but Antonio knew where we should go and he was always right. Pedro and Eduardo are... More

We were very happy with Mundaca Divers. Edwardo and Pedro continuously checked on us during our dives and swimming with the whale sharks. They made sure we were safe, comfortable and happy. Tony, who runs the shop was very helpful as well. Due to the recent tropical storm he let us know the current was too strong and the visibility... More

We started plannin' this trip back in the winther time, and since my girlfriend was already an advanced scuba diver, I wanted to get my Open water certificate, so we could dive together in the future. We'd heard about the Mundaca dive center from friends, so I wrote and told them of my plans, and wanted to hear what their... More

Arrived Islas mujures right before tropical storm. No diving until today. Dive shop seems disorganized. Expectations were high due to diving in Cozumel every year. Disappointed in the service. No assistance getting gear ready, no water access brought on boat unless we brought our own bottled water. In Cozumel the dive shops also bring fresh fruit onboard. None of that... More
