It only cost $20 pesos per person but really wasn't worth the stop. The supposed gardens are overgrown with no appeal. There are many lguanas some as big as cats! They run fast and a few came right at us which was slightly scary. The...More

After several visits to the island, I finally got to "tour" the Hacienda Mundaca grounds. It was only a couple of dollars to gain access. There was any information regarding how you should walk around to see everything. The buildings did have some old faded...More

We had been to Isla 4 times and had never come here. It is nice place to come and take a walk and see some history. I think they are building a new entrance off the other side of the park. Good place to get...More

It is nice to go walk through the grounds for the exercise. It has some interesting structures to look at. It is not very expensive to get in, and hopefully they use that money for improved signage, etc.

If you enjoy history, it's worth a visit. A little run down, but there's cool things to see like the old structures, crocodiles, etc.

I think we missed some of the grounds when we went, but we had fun wandering around, walking down the path through the stone arches and garden ruins. It was somewhat dark, quiet, and creepy but very cool to see. Don't think of it as...More

It's infested with iguanas but the place and the story behind it is pretty cool. I really enjoyed looking at the mansion...you can sort of picture everything.

Good thing the entrance was cheap. The grounds are what are really interesting, and we would have easliy missed some of the developed garden if we didn't follow a poorly maintained path. This would have been beautiful at one time, and could be again. No...More
