Punta Morena is a calm and quiet beach in the east side of the island farder away from the main cruise beaches,in our stablishment we have many ammenities such as: a seefood and mayan cousin restaurant, coktel drinks in the bar, massages, 3 pools (2 for children 1 for adults) big chairs on the beach, hammocks, a natural pool made between the rocks in the ocean (so its safe from big waves)and one of the best panoramic views to the caribbean ocean.

I love this hidden gem!!!! It's not over commercialized by a million tourist from the cruise ships either. It's clean, safe, peaceful, and well maintained except for the fountain pool that has never worked.

Like several other reviewers here, I've hesitated to bring any attention to this place, as it has proven to be our favorite little getaway when we go to Cozumel. We've been several times, and over the years the staff have expanded a little more and...More

Honestly, I didn't want to leave a review. I want to be selfish and not share how amazing this little spot is, but that would simply be unfair. The food is good. Honestly, I didn't each much. We were trying to relax away from the...More

I absolutely love this place! The views here are breathtaking and the staff is amazing. Our first time here there was just a small building with a restaurant, a few out buildings, and Simone. We were hooked from the start. They have really done a...More

Rented a taxi for a 3-1/2 hour tour of Cozumel and lunch with some friends from our cruise. The tour was great and he took us to the East side of the island which has no electricity, cell signal, etc. Punta Moreno is totally wind...More

The beach was lovely - strong waves kept us close to the shore. Strange obsession with 5 minute free massages - weird. The restaurant had good ceviche. Worth the car rental and trip.

Great, great place to spend the day! Good food and drinks from the friendly staff, small pool (great for little ones), a couple of places to get into the ocean and a rough side if it's safe to ride a few waves (caution recommended due...More

So the cruise stopped in Cozumel and we had nothing planned. What to do? There were six of us and we found a taxi that would give us a tour of the island for $30 each. After a short stop downtown in San Miguel our...More

It was a very quiet day when we visited, and the beach and the views are spectacular. However the cost of food and drink was outrageous and not worth it. Bring a cooler and blanket and enjoy the view from the beach.

Well I honestly don't know. I would try to contact them before hand. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and just showing up may work if you are not requiring their services for anything but good and drink services.

You do not need reservations, but it is not a free beach. I would recommend reservations and get a package deal that includes transportation as well as the beach amenities. You can go through a company like Shore Trips... More
