So we were staying In Cozumel for three weeks and as we do every year we visited this great place! Got there at ten AM and got the pick of the best spot for lounging! We were served right away and our waiter was great...More
Restaurant is located on opposite side of island from the port so it’s less crowded. We rented a car for like $80 for the day and drove around the entire island and found this place. The food was great. There’s also a pool on site,...More
We rented a car and took the car ferry from Puerto Venado just south of Playa del Carmen. Drove off the ferry and took the highway across the island to Punta Morena. This is a beautiful, sandy beach where the proprietors do not charge you...More

This attractive restaurant has wonderful, friendly servers and two charming, older gentlemen who play marvellous, traditional music. The scenery by a sheltered cove and crashing waves can't be beat.
However, the food, although good, is overpriced. You're really paying for the lovely view.

Well I honestly don't know. I would try to contact them before hand. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and just showing up may work if you are not requiring their services for anything but good and drink services.
You do not need reservations, but it is not a free beach. I would recommend reservations and get a package deal that includes transportation as well as the beach amenities. You can go through a company like Shore Trips... More
You do not need reservations, but it is not a free beach. I would recommend reservations and get a package deal that includes transportation as well as the beach amenities. You can go through a company like Shore Trips for the package. It was cheaper than the excursion thru our cruise line and pretty close to the cost of just the beach access, but included everything. Especially nice when going from a cruise stop.
