Looking to spend an afternoon or day at the beach? Chankanaab offers much more than sun and sandy shoreline. My family has taken advantages of many of the amenities this park offers: Walking-tour of Mayan village and culture, watching tropical fish in a fresh-water lagoon,...More

Beautiful place to enjoy the beach. The people and service are very attentive and helpful. You can scuba, it is what we did, swim snorkel, shop, eat and just hang out and enjoy the white beach.

Nice place to hang out with the entire family. Made it a day full of activities for all ages. This place is much like a water park, only everything there is provided by nature. Food venders are on site.

This resort was amazing. Don't book the excursion through the cruise company. Just grab a taxi & pay the entrance fee. It will be way cheaper & you wont be on a time constraint.

Taxi takes US dollars, You can stroll on your own. Tequila tasting wasn't open when we were there. There are lockers to store things, or change into/out of your bathing suit.

You'll have plenty of time. we did the dolphin and manatee experience at 1, and had time for lunch after as well as stop by the supermarket on the way back and walk around the shopping area by the ship.
