Love this reef for photography, large colorful fish - angels, grunts, filefish, crabs and lobster. You can tell the crab and lobster are not hunted in the park - they are huge!

We hit this reef on a very good visibility day. It's a reef that is very enjoyable for an experienced diver while being friendly to newer divers by not requiring frequent depth changes to enjoy it close at hand. Very nice dive spot!

This site is not too deep and it has lot of marine life and coral. As it's drift diving here, let the current take you and enjoy the reef.

There are several reefs to dive in Cozumel. San Francisco Reef is one of them. It is not a deep dive; but the sea life is abundant and the reef beautiful. If you dive, include Cozumel in your trips.

We found this dive taxing. Perhaps it was the weather but the drift was to quick to enjoy. By the time you saw something you were drifing past. Take this wtih a grain of salt it was our 1st dive in mexico and our 1st drift dive so it was a learning curve. Also they previous 4 days the dive... More

Diving San Francisco Reef in a current is like sticking your head out the window of a slow moving car, minus the bugs. You are along for the ride with no stopping for pictures. Forget about swimming back to something you just saw. Amazing dive with lots distance.
