This lovely museum is just the antidote to hustlers chasing tourists up and down the streets of Cozumel. With lots of material to cover in a compact space, the museum has done a great job. Go at your own pace, and enjoy the art as...More

My wife and I had already done some of the active excursions on a previous cruise, so this time we decided to see some of old town Cozumel. This small museum provides a good brief perspective on the history and environment of this center of...More

This was a small museum related to the island of Cozumel. We enjoyed seeing some exhibits about coral reefs, local wildlife, and history/pirates. Our favorite spot was the recreation of a Mayan house/hut. This isn't a must-see activity, but if you have a spare hour...More

I enjoyed this small museum. A short cab ride from the pier (for about $8) and a small admission fee to enter (around $4), it was worth it to see the artifacts and learn more about the local culture. Great view of the water from...More

We were walking around Cozumel and walked by. I decided to go in because they looked to have a Day of the Dead exhibit. My husband sat outside on a bench. There are four main display rooms and an outside area. It is just $4...More

Very nice place, service and food. I found this place, on my last stroll before departure. Frankly the best view in town. Highly recommend a stop in.

This was another stop on our island tour. Not much here and can easily be seen in an hour or less. If you're not into marine life and local animal life vignettes this wont interest you.

My sister and I love the view and the food for breakfast at the 'Museum'. It is an open air balcony restaurant above the true culture of the island. The Museum is worth the time to visit and see local artwork and objects of the...More

Four rooms of marine life, relics and artifacts, Mayan island history and Spanish arrival. Well done small local museum! Take the time to see this for a little more depth into the island

This is an old question, but in case it's useful to someone - relatively easy. The museum is about half a mile from the cruise ship dock. The directions are easy - you just walk along the oceanfront main road (Avenida Rafael... More
