Although not as popular as Chichén Itzá, these ancient Mayan ruins are noteworthy in their own right, as this is the site where Mayan women paid tribute to the goddess of love and fertility.

Our guide taught us much about the Mayan culture and was able to answer our questions. It was definitely worth the trip to us.

I'm not into history so maybe that's why I didn't find this very interesting. To me it was just a bunch of stones stacked up. Most of the buildings are gone....just a few stone to represent what was there. I wasn't impressed....I like to see...More

Spent about 1 hour visiting the site, great site to visit on Cozumel, much smaller than the sites on the main land, but worth the time to visit while in Cozumel.

great cultural place. We rented a scooter to get there. It is well preserved. The only annoying thing was to go to two different places to pay for local and federal fees.

Visited for a few hours in the morning. Had a great guide, Bianca, very knowledgeable and engaging. Learned a lot at this site about the Mayans, and it does not get the recognition it deserves.

It seem to take us 30 minutes by bus to get there. About an hour sounds right.
