The current was not too strong - coral formations were stunning. Max depth around 80', many sea creatures, esp. turtles and a few nurse sharks.

Captain Mike and Darios took us on a 2.5 hour tour to 3 locations along the reef (Colombia, Blue Sky and Planacar Gardens.) We felt safe, we saw more than we ever dreamed we would (nurse shark, barracuda, starfish etc.) I highly recommend this tour!

This was one of the locations we visited during our scuba trips. It was a nice reef and there was a number of things to see. We did see some turtles, the local shark and some crabs and giant lobster. Of course a number of the common fish all found in the area. Was a relatively easy drift dive, with... More

We did a snorkeling tour and went to this reef and Columbia Reef which were near one another. This reef seem a lot deeper than the Columbia reef. There were may Scuba divers down below and all their little bubbles were rising to the surface. We saw a few sea turtles in this area and many fish.

Our family did a snorkeling/experience dive through our hotel's dive shop. One of our stops was Palancar Reef. It was beautiful- amazing coral formations. It was a bit rough the day we went - I was glad to have Dramamine along, especially for the snorkelers in our family. Definitely worth the effort!

Nothing special, another beach club, but here they only ask you to consume and are not required to pre-pay for entry. Cannot comment on food and drinks and we didnt want food or drinks and only wanted to enjoy the weather and water. We walked to the furthest part of the beach strip, planted our towels and chilled out. There... More

You have to take a bat but it is NOT worth missing. A lot of small boats go out there but it does not seem like there is a lot of people there when you get out there.
