Amazing ruins with lots of history. The guide we had was very informative. Valladolid is a beautiful colonial city. I would love to go back and visit there and stay overnight.

When I booked this tour, we were told that it consisted of a trip to Chichen Itza, lunch and a cenote swim. I had originally intended to take a coach from Tulum to Chichen Itza rather than going by tour, but we decided to book this at the last minute as it seemed good value for money. In reality, it... Good things: tour guide, private tour meant my husband could take his time hiking (has a prosthetic), free bottle of water, shopping, comfortable enough bus ride, and the ruins are beautiful. Bad things: are you kidding me?? Lunch was "provided" but we didn't even get a drink. After we sat down they moved us. They wanted us to pay extra... More

The day was long and hot but it was enjoyable. We loved learning more about the beautiful Mayan culture and then what a great trip to the old, old town of Valladolid. The town is filled with beautiful old buildings, a Church, Square and the restaurant we are at was wonderful! The visit to the cenote is quick but very... More

My fiance and I went did the Xichen Deluxe Tour with Xcaret Mexico, arranged by the Bahia Principe resort in Akumal. We were told to bring bathing suits, towels and eco-friendly sunscreen, especially if we swim in the cenotes--so as to not contaminate the water. The day of the tour, we wore our bathing suits underneath our clothes. The bus... More

A very enjoyable and informative tour. We had a short stop in Valladolid. A very beautiful spot that if we were in the area again we would love to return to. The park area opposite the Cathedral is very nice.

Very Informative and entertaining tour. The busses very nice and comfortable this is a full day tour in which breakfast and lunch are included the tour guide was entertaining, however, they try to sell you stuff like mosquito repellents etc. On the way back we stopped and got down at cenote Ik Kil which was very beautiful although crowded.

3 travelers on this tour - ages 38, 35 and 10YO. We were picked up directly from our hotel (Occidental at Xcaret) in the morning and then taken to the depot (45 minute drive) where you switch from a smaller shuttle bus to a bigger bus and then begin the drive to Chichen Itza. As you are driving the wonderful... More

The trip to Xichen-Itza' is worth the time - it is a 12 hour day. You are picked up in a nice motor bus and if you purchased the deluxe tour, are given a boxed breakfast. Eat it, as you will need the energy- once at the site as there is a great deal of walking. WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES!. The... More

Great tour, these guides kept it fun and interesting plus Ruth knows French. I don't know if you can request them as your guides but if you can then I highly recommend them.
