It is one thing to see pictures but to actually stand in front of it. Walk around it. How could they build it over a 1000 years and to have such a magical structure. We build stadiums that our outdated in 25 years and the Mayans could still use it for their ceremonies today. Go see it you probably won't... More

Definitely worth seeing, the way it rises out of the jungle is really cool. The steps are crumbling on 2 sides and you can't climb anymore, which is a shame, but worth a trip out here

It's an awesome sight. You've got the pyramid itself but you've also got the rest of the complex, which features various other temples and ruins, as well as the 'ball court'. You should certainly go.

So much history in this place that you would be a fool not to make the 2 hour drive from Cancun to visit this park. You can feel the history of this place just seeping up from the ground. Personally I did not use a tour guide and I still learned a lot. There are plaqards all over the park... More

Stunning as a piece of sculpture, astonishing as an engineering feat! Beautiful & meaningful to the culture of Mayans. Deservedly one of the wonders of the modern world.

Such history here, loved the atmosphere, loved the fact you can climb to the top! Shame there is not many plaques displaying what the place "looked like" i.e. mock ups, but I guess that's why you have a guide!

This ruins was an amazing place with great history. This place is blazing hot and huge. Wear airy and comfortable clothes and shoes as there will be a lot of walking. Bring extra water bottle to quench your thirst.

This was 1 of only 2 trips we did while on holiday as we were very lazy! But this was something not to be missed - the place is stunning and fascinating, especially if you get a good guide. my husband is not really into history etc it's me that is, but even he really enjoyed it. It really is... More
