A nice open-air mall to walk around at night or on a cloudy day. Plenty of attractions to choose from if you get bored of sitting by the beach one day. Plenty of places to get food or coffee. All in all, a great place to spend a couple of hours on vacation.
A few other points:
-There are a lot of kiosks selling tickets to local attractions, any they can get pretty aggressive. Just ignore them and they will usually leave you alone.
-The souvenir shops in la isla are obvious tourist traps. Any store the lists their prices first in dollars and THEN in pesos is a clear red flag for me. Indeed, many of the shirts and souvenirs they were selling I found for less than half price at Chederaui supermarket just a few blocks away (it’s a block away from cocobngo, if you want to see for yourself).

We came here to browse and walk around on a cloudy day. This place has potential but felt sad and empty. Lots of stores but no energy in the entire village. Most people seemed to be there to go to the aquarium. We walked around for about an hour and then took the bus back to our hotel.

We visited the mall in the evenings a couple times during our visit. The mall has a good array of shops and restaurants but lacks Mexican touch. The whole place seemed very nice, clean and airy. Note you may be bombarded by people trying to sell you excursions etc. but just ignore and move on without making eye contact. Try Aldos ice cream which was excellent.

Loved this place, great shops bars and restaurants all in one area A good nix of more lavish designer shops and the less expensive traditional shopping.

Nice shopping centre to visit to get off the resort for a couple of hours. Usual mall type shops, Sephora, Crocs etc. Some shops were quite expensive but enjoyed the little souvenir shops. Had some lunch in Hooters overlooking the bay. One annoyance is the number of excursion vendors operating in a very small area. Every 2 seconds there was someone approaching you and a few wouldn’t take no for an answer. Eventually gave up trying to be polite.

Very pretty mall, lots of picture taking opportunities. Stores were a bit too high end for me but it was nice to window shop. The biggest problem was the number of tour operators trying to get you to stop and buy a tour. There are too many! Literally every few steps. I would visit again but I would have to keep being rude and ignore the many annoying sales people!

Too many sellers trying to sell us different types of trips and prices in the stores are so high that it is cheaper to shop in Denmark.

We went to La Isla twice on our last visit. Purchased Tiffany's, Gucci, and YSL products. While the prices are the same as you will find in the U.S., with the tax back program, which is located right in the Village, it's like purchasing tax free. Just remember to bring your passport and return flight information.

Your hotel should have a shuttle to that location.
