It's a really cool place to spend a good time with your friends. The perfect place to dance salsa and other rhythms. Nice ambience and a lot of space to hang out. Live music is playing after 11:00 pm

I went here two nights in a row because I loved it so much. The atmosphere is buzzing, and it is full of locals rather than tourists which we really enjoyed.

The music is pretty much all spanish and all singing done by the live is in spanish too.

The dancing: the best part. You will see people salsaing, doing the buchata, tango.. (hope I got those right) it’s brilliant. I can do none of those dances but someone will see you ask you to dance and teach you. It’s fantastic!

Drinks and entry are cheap. Entry was 60 pesos both nights I went, and two tequilla sunrises were 200 ( less than £10 )

If I ever return to Cancun, this will be my first stop back!

Great place for live music and dancing. I'm no night owl so with the band starting after midnight I couldn't enjoy the band for their entire set.

I really enjoyed the live salsa band. I had no troubles finding a dance partner and the crowd on Saturday night was incredible! They had lots of fun special effects to celebrate Halloween. I am definitely going back when I return in the spring.

Last Saturday night was my second time dancing at the Mambo. I was traveling with a lady friend and also have a friend in Cancun that we met there. Many gentlemen asked us to dance. Wow, can they Salsa!! We were treated with respect and welcomed to join in the fun. The waiter was a little slow, but no matter, our drinks were good and reasonably priced. There is a low cover charge. The music is the best from Latin dance classics to today's top Latin hits. They have a light show with confetti and blue smoke streamers. It's very exciting. The evening flew by. Love this place.

An awesome life salsa band play there every Saturday. You can dance, drink or just enjoy the party and the whole atmosphere filled with mambo rhythms. It's a short and cheap cab ride from the hotel zone. Very safe, the crowd is locals and tourists which makes it very special and different from all the clubs by the beach.

We were a group of 18. The waiter was not friendly. Not happy with the service. However when the live music came on, we did not care. Althought the show was late, we arrived at 1030p show began at 12, it was worth the wait. The music was awesome.

We came to Cancun for a holiday so had no real desire to go to the clubs but really wanted to go to a local bar/club to listen to some Latin music and try to salsa (very badly). Mambo cafe was great! Watching everyone twirling and spinning on the dance floor was excellent. We went on a Friday night which was apparently not as good as Saturday but still had loads of fun! Live band and they mixed in some other genres of music which was fun too!

We went on Saturday which they had a live band and DJ -- it was amazing, great place to Salsa, and dance Latin/ Spanish -- its in the downtown area right kitty corner to Walmart, so it wasn't that far from the hotel zone. The night we went the place was full, and most were local individuals and cover was like 60 pesos. I would highly recommend this place for people of all ages looking to have a good night out.
