We had an amazing dinner at the Chef's Table at the Ritz Carlton. The chef Ryan Manning was great at explaining the food and why it fit with the theme. If you like food I recommend that you make a reservation for this unique experience.

I participated in the Cocina Mexicana cooking class and was a great experience. As Chef Manning explained, they put a chef's knife in one hand and a margarita in the other. You participate in making fresh margaritas, guacamole (traditionally with a molcajete), corn tortillas, an entree (chicken or fish) and some dessert. All in all, a great way to spend... More

We spent the afternoon with Chef Ryan Manning learning to cook an Italian meal. Every one in our group, down to our teenage daughter, loved every minute of the experience. Ryan is personable and not only does a great job of teaching culinary fundamentals, but he had useful suggestions (some even in writing) about shopping and other experiences in the... More

This place is a true gem and I just don't understand why it's not more prominently advertised or suggested. I asked a couple staff members where I should eat and they never mentioned the Culinary Center/Chef table. I don't know why. Color me mystified. I attended the cooking class and my wife and I had dinner there a couple nights... More

Really enjoyed the cooking class with Chef Carlos. We were greeted with a welcome cocktail. They adapted the menu to meet my food intolerances. The food was fabulous and all courses were served with different wine pairings. I am very envious of the kitchen! I am still dreaming of the gazpacho with a hint of strawberry. Would definitely recommend and... More

I prebooked the cooking class before our trip. My husband was hesitant to go. By the end he loved it! When we walked in, they gave us the most delicious drink. We did the Tuscan cooking class and made a flat bread, gnocchi cheese pasta with a mushroom sauce and sautéed chicken. Dessert was panna cotta with strawberries. Everything was... More

My husband had been wanting to attend the Ritz Carlton Culinary Center's classes during our previous 2 trips to Cancun. This trip when we returned for our wedding we decided it was a must. We attended the Real Mexican cooking class. Our first task was learning Chef Rory's awesome margarita recipe. The margaritas were then shared throughout the class. The... More

We stayed at the Ritz in February and decided to book an evening with the Chef's Table and from the first minute it was a great experience. You were greeted by Chef Rory in the lobby of the hotel, we were fashioned with the Ritz aprons and escorted down to their fabulous kitchen. You were able to help Chef Rory... More
