Coming from Europe, I wasn't expecting pure techno vibe as this is Cancun and it's an acquired taste but really, wasn't this supposed to be an EDM club? The DJ's mix music from basically all pop music, the tracks last at most 30 seconds and this is supposed to be high level dj'ing. It's a disgrace, sorry.
Regarding the venue itself - it's quite small, circular in design, tons of security (messing with dancing as well by their frequent walking), tables everywhere on the dancefloor (their idea how to get more $ out of you by reserving bottle service". To give them credit, each bottle delivered comes with all sorts of special effects and the support personnel clean it up pronto but this is not an electronic music club. I have no idea what it is to be honest apart from a place where people pretend to come for music they like. And by the way, all clubs in this area are next to each other, so this results in a cacophony of all sorts of music. Bought the ticket for 40 USD from a tour guide (30 back as drinks), drank 1 beer and left for the hotel. If you're into similar music as I am, I was recommended to go to Tulum for this. Haven't yet but you've been warned.

Not sure if it was just a slow night or edm night but honestly not what we were expecting. Wife and I weren't feeling the music once we entered. La Vaquita and Congo across the street were playing the best latin/hip-hop once we left (which was early, say 11-ish). Try another club tbh.

We paid for a diamond table and tipped the staff throughout the night totally about 15% of the overall cost and they had the audacity to ask for another 30% tip while surrounding us with 5 staff members. They intimidated us into paying the overall 30% tip. I would recommend all those that go here be prepared for their tactics and if possible avoid such a dishonest and shady business.

Upon arrival we were only given a menu to choose from that consisted of bottled spirits. When asking for a menu for beers and cocktails we were told you can't order just 1 beer, its had to be a minimum of 6. There was two of us and I don't drink beer.
We ordered two cocktails and then wished to move on to the next club. I received the bill of $380, including the service charge but then told there was an additional charge of 20% (I still have no idea what this was for) I handed over $600 and was given $150 change. On the receipt the server had only put $400 through the till. When questioned on this he tried justifying the additional 20% but this was stated no where on the receipt. My partner took the money he had overcharged us off him and we walked out.
The worst part is, we tip heavily when people don't try to rip us off.
I wouldn't come back here again for that reason and strongly advise anyone else to avoid completely as they will try and take as much money off you as they can.

We were in the Hotel Zone on a Wednesday night and thought. “Why not go check out Mandala?” It looked cool with their 2 flashy dancers poised facing the street to get onlookers’ attention. We paid for our passes & headed in. It. Was. Dead. Nothing going on except loud music playing. NOTHING No professional dancers, no guests dancing, no videos on the screen, nothing. There were about 3 other tables with guests and we were all sitting around, facing an empty dance floor. Soon after, guys at one of the tables left. The only thing going on was employees walking around.
Our waiter Carlos Villejas was very friendly and attentive. I wish the club were more lively and fun as we would have stayed longer. As it was, we just had one drink.
We paid, left a tip and walked out.
We hung out around the area and noticed hardly anyone going in to the club. Again, this was a Wednesday night, at around 10pm… I’d advise not going unless you notice a lot other people going in.

10/10 amazing. Guillermo nos atendió súper bien con todas las bebidas y la comida! Nos venimos a mandala 3 de los 5 días que nos quedamos en Cancún!!
Guillermo was our waiter and totally catered to our needs with all the drinks & food we ordered. We came to mandala 3 out of the 5 days we stayed in Cancun. 10/10 would do again. SO MUCH FUN!!!

Club has really nice open air atmosphare. It's open air, but still climatised which is amazing. Music is great. Has different stages which make it also attractive if you don't want immediately start to dance.

I came prepared to spend a load of cash to have a great time with girls that I brought. But unfortunately I was forcefully pushed out of the bathroom by the gulf cartel for not buying coke. I was scared for my life and will never return. I confronted two bouncers and the manger regarding my bathroom experience and they said “I’m sorry that’s normal here there’s nothing we can do” so just a heads up. If you want to get drugged and taken advantage of, Mandala club is the place for you! Also, if this post gets flagged for “Hearsay” or “rumors” I’m also going to report this to TripAdvisor managers because this should be known for ANYONE considering spending a PENNY at Mandala.

We went to this place on our first night in Cancun, escorted by Cuncrawl. It was one of three bars that we hit during the bar crawl. Lots of fun, so we decided to go back the next night on our own. BIG mistake.
There are dudes in the men's bathroom trying to sell blow. When my buddy and I refused, we were literally accosted in the bathroom. Security arrived as we were being shoved and slapped around. But instead of helping us, security supported the thugs. They took our jewelry, including my wedding ring, but not our wallets, cash, or credit cards. Security dragged us outside, and suddenly a young lady arrives to broker a deal for us to pay cash to get our jewelry back. No one would help us, even the police.
My buddy got his stuff back. I never got my wedding ring. A troubling and HORRIBLE experience.

I heard it was like $500 a bottle. and about 4 fit per couch. I think if you want VIP you need to buy it from their website. For standing tables, your resort will walk you in and cut the line.
