Did not use the beach facilities but the water looked great. We took an extended walk and then just had something to eat.

We arrived early at this beach and had to wait for the ferry to go to Isla Mujeres. We looked at the shops and also used the public restrooms which were very clean. 5 pesos per person

Over crowded, harassed by locals trying to sell you stuff, dirty water and beach, lots of drunks and sketchy characters... go to playa delphines!!! About 10 km away at the other end of hotel zone, but worth the bus ride!!! Relaxing, beautiful water, crashing waves fun to play in and safe atmosphere!!!

We took this shuttle for the security second time seeing since we had enjoyed it a few years ago. The trip stopped for snorkeling, swimming with a shark and lunch buffet and then onto shopping time downtown. The lunch buffet was good and it was a fun day.

I heard great things about this beach, but I was pretty disappointed with what I saw. The beach was very overcrowded and small. The atmosphere was pretty fun, but it was hard to enjoy with how crowded it was. My husband and I ended up going down the road to a different beach where there was less that half the... More

We stopped a few minutes at the Playa Tortugas ferry terminal waiting for the Ultramar to Isla Mujeres. There were plenty of people enjoying the beach area, but it's everything I hate about Mexican (and a lot of Caribbean) beaches. You couldn't move an inch without someone trying to sell you something - food, excursion, touristy crap, bungy jump, etc.... More

had a nice drink while waiting for the ferry to Isla Mujeres. it is a cheaper taxi ride here from the airport, and a nicer place to wait for the ferry than Puerto Jaurez. ferry only runs on the hour, so perhaps have a second drink.

We stopped by Playa Tortuga's on a weekend....It was great to see so !Any local families out! It's a public beach, not large, but has cafes all around. It's close to the ferry terminal and boat tours.

The Playa Tortugas Beach is just beautiful, the white sandy beach to crystal blue waters. As you walk you can see the many beautiful homes and the views of all the Hotels that line the shore. Enjoy a beautiful sunset or sunrise.
