It's a small nice little square that is nice to see but nothing really special. You'll probably pass by it going to and from the Cathedral or Silver Market in any case.

Taxco runs loads of white VW beetles as taxis (so they are small and are limited on size for carrying people and bags - around 30 pesos to get you around the town) so you will often see a circle of white VW beetles going...More

One of the most beautiful little towns I've ever visited - perched on a mountainside, with white buildings, red roofs and winding, cobblestone streets. It is a pleasure just to walk and visit the various stores full of silver goods and restaurants with good food....More

Not very big but it's crowded and seems fun. you can wander around and drink coffee from 2nd floor bar and buy some silver.

Too many cars and pollution on the city center... need to wear a mask...😁 It’s a pity for such a beautiful town. Something has to be done ✅

The Zocalo is a very comfortable and welcoming site for tourists visiting this city. We found it very clean as we did the rest of this city. Very impressed with Taxco.

Decent zocalo, but super crowded with tourists. Not very impressed with this town... more of a tourist trap than anything else. Tons of people trying to get you into their shops around the zocalo. Unless you’re into silver, it’s not that exciting.
