This is a lovely spot for photographing people. There is a huge cross in the plaza that spreads its shadow across the plaza then up the yellow wall of the cathedral. It provides a lovely backdrop for photographing people passing by. This is a charming...More

Due to the September 2017 earthquake damage. Tarps on roof, scaffolding, cordoned off. Just like the majority of churches in this town. No-one knows when any of them will be repaired and opened. Local vendors lay out their wares on the ground on the large...More

A great place to view at sunset when the colours are very interesting! There is a nightly market in front of the church not to be missed. Because of earthquake damage we were not allowed to enter and it has been fenced off.

Nice cathedral in barrock style located in the centre of this beautiful city. At the front are several statues of which two are San Pedro and San Pablo. Unfortunately the cathedral has to be renovated currently because of the earthquakes. Furthermore, in front of the...More

This place is under resconstruction because it was hit by the earthquake, but it is still worth going there because it is on the central plaza and very busy with people - nice for people-watching.
