This is a huge store and is a good place for purchasing artisanal products made by good qualified local craftsmen. Everything is kept well organized and in sections with people to help you with questions.
We bought a Alibrejes from here for 6000 pesos and a black pottery for 700. NOTE, this may sound expensive but you get what you pay for. Lot goes into making these and you can tell it by just looking at it and comparing it to something cheaper.
All prices are fixed and there is no haggling. The kind of pieces we bought had a similar price range in other shops.
I recommend you visit this place and check it out.

This store spans across several rooms and contains a large variety of locally crafted items. It is a great place to look around and to buy souvenirs. There are woven goods, mexican wrestling masks, and many other types of items. In one room there are craftspeople hard at work, weaving and plying their crafts. We liked the giant dolls that were on display throughout the store.

Located in the heart of downtown Oaxaca, Casa de Artesanis offers hand made clothing, purses, table clothes, napkins, rugs, and a variety of other Oaxacan handicrafts. The artisans who produced the items are there in the store to answer questions and provide information about the pieces they have made, The shop is large and spacious, comfortable and uncluttered. The products are of excellent quality. It is a place where the traveller can find gifts in an easy-going, enjoyable way.

You will have the chance of admiring and buying at reasonable prices the products of some of the best artisans of Oaxaca: from pottery to painted fantastic animals to materials and bags and clothes and jewelry.... Do not miss it!!! The Casa de las Artesanias is located in Matamoros, right in the old center of Oaxaca.

High-quality, we’ll curated selection of items. The people working here are extremely friendly and helpful. We are very happy with an embroidered shirt and ceramic shot glasses purchased here on two different visits.

We went into many shops, from the markets to some high-street boutique type places. This is where we bought gift items for friends & family. Reasonable prices, great selection and solid quality.

Not quite like watching the actual artisans create their wares, but the selection and prices -- right in Oaxaca de Juarez -- is really good. . . especially for those last minute buys.

For traditional Mexican cuisine, there is no place on earth like Oaxaca City, the epicenter. Same goes for arts and crafts, and this is an incredible collection from all the best craft zones of the great state of Oaxaca in one eye popping location. The people who work here are serious and knowledgeable about their crafts, and there are masters onsite weaving who are happy to share what and how they are doing. I made a dream come true, finally splurging a bit on an embroidered velvet huipil, and had great selection, price and quality to choose from. Got several handwoven table dressings, too many colors to make an easy choice! Pottery, baskets, on and on and on. We are blessed to visit Oaxaca often, and always save up some extra cash and keep space in the bags. Forgot to leave space? Get a great new bag in Oaxaca!

I like Huizache better, but this cooperative has a great selection of items, fair prices, and I didn't feel pressured to buy.
