We did not stay at the hotel, but we certainly want to on another trip here--it looks simply wonderful. So old and so posh, we walked around and visited the pool area and hallways, loved everything we saw.

The convento is now a hotel. You can enter and visit all the place without paying anything. Is sad that you can see the place as it really was.

This is a classic, old, beautiful building converted to a hotel and other attractions. On a quiet street. The hotel (La Quinta Real Oaxacca) is a beautiful spot for a quick visit or, especially, Sunday brunch.

A large refectory , some affreschi still remind of the original convent. A very large but still intimate complex with the most enchanting inner courtyard which you can enjoy as a refuge from the outdoor heat and where you can take your pre-dinner Tequila drink...More
