This is an amazing way to get to see the landscape and meet the people who live in these communities. We hiked for 6 days and loved it even when it rained...The hikes were very enjoyable and our guides were great!! Will do it again!

We hiked four days around the Pueblos Mancomunados (with Expediciones Sierra Norte). The scenery is amazing, with vegetation changing with altitude. The culture in the villages is probably best experienced with a guide.

I think that would be easiest from Benito Juarez. Try to bring a map or get some general directions, since trials are not always very well marked. Have fun!
