Highly recommend visiting the Chapultepec Castle and its surrounding garden. It takes you from the Habsburg period of Mexican history through Porfirio Diaz and Benito Juarez. The interiors are done in an imperial style and this monument is worth visiting as part of a comprehensive understanding of the history of Mexico and Mexico City. Tickets are cash only and some... A beautiful castle providing incredible views of the whole city. Biggest tip I can give is to go as early as you can - this will help you avoid the inevitable queues and heat. Also make sure you are dehydrated before entering as you will be asked to throw your liquids away.

This was a summer palace for Maximilian from Handsburg, back in the 1800's. The intricate detail of every single thing here is amazingly beautiful! Even the door hinges are intricate!! It is so worth your time, like all historic attractions in a foreign country, a guide is so much worth it! Most museums and national attractions are free to access... More

The place is breathtaking , it takes you to a different era on Mexico city. Surrounding areas are great and it's a great option to have a good day because of the variety of places that surround the castle.

Take a stroll in the park when the weather isn't too hot, spend and hour here and 2 hours in the Anthropology Museum for a great morning. Impressive, well preserved castle. Great because rooms are accessible from the outside, so you're getting fresh air.

The Catillo de Chapultepec is in the center of the park, and sits perched above the entire park, overlooking the city (360.) Tons of history, as this was the presidential palace for Maximilliano and Portfiro Diaz. A must see while visiting the park.

Chapultepec Castle is a Mexico City Essential. It was unlike anything I've ever seen before in my life. It was beautiful inside and out. On the inside there were many historic works of art. On the outside there was a magnificent view of the city along with the Chapultepec park. Admission is inexpensive. If you're in Mexico City make sure... More

The palace is really beautiful. Each corner creates a composition of this place. And the panorama is simply breathtaking. This is the place I recommend to visit strongly.

An iconic building housing a period of Mexico's history well worth studying. The views of the city from its terraces alone is worth the trip.
