Built in 1906 at a cost of $2.5 M it stands 45 meters high and sits in a prominent position on the Reformer.It is impressive and worth a visit.

The best way to see most of the monuments and things of interest is taking the hop on hop off bus. The best views are from the top

Beautiful old monument. Its just a quick walk across the heavy traffic. Defiantly see it when there is not a celebration or protect going on

Ensure you get there in the right light. Some mornings are overcast which means you may not get the best backdrop for your photos. You can cross the street to get a great pic. Not to be missed.

It’s a nice place to visit. Just to pass around there by car and better if at night. Paseo de la Reforma is the nicest street in Mexico City and this monument complements it’s beauty.

You can just walk by or drive by in Paseo de la Reforma. It is a very emblematic monument and you can take a picture at it.

This was just one block away from the Marriott hotel so we walked thru this spot every day. It’s a huge monument at the middle of the road with steps around it where people sit and relax. Couple of observations, one there was no walkway...More

The monument itself is nice but not worth seeing in itself, but it is part of Paseo de la Reforma which is a great street for strolling and people watching in the late afternoon, say between 16.00and 19.00
