I spent several hours here just strolling through Amsterdam Avenue. A welcome time away from the museums and the busyness of Mexico City. If you stay on the Amsterdam path it is very tranquil. Restaurants and cafés lined the streets. A real plus is that...More

I enjoyed a beautiful stroll at the La Condesa. Busy area with lots of restaurants and shops. The challenge was deciding where to eat.

The charming tree lined streets (especially Amsterdam), parque Mexico (my favorite in the city), adorable restaurants, chocolate and pastry shops, stylish inhabitants,....need I go on? So cool. Stay here, shop here, eat here!

Very quaint and relaxing. Definitely a place to see. Tree lined streets, great shopping, and a fantastic Churro place that's in business since 1935

It reminded us of small quartiers in Paris. Lovely buildings, great cafes and restaurants and still a nice walk to the Zocalo.

It's understandable why this is such a sought after locale in CDMX. You could easily spend a day walking around Amsterdam and visiting the small shops in the vicinty. It's also super dog friendly.

Lots of life and energy, lots of hipsters, cool restaurants, hidden nooks, activities and shops. This is a wonderful and fun place to live. It was heavily affected by the earthquake in september and still has a lot of old buildings which were damaged, but...More

We love staying in La Condessa, so many amazing eateries within easy walking distance. The area always feels safe and we really appreciate the tree lined walkways between traffic lanes. As another reviewer commented, this would also be my choice for a home.

Easy to explore either on bike or foot, Condesa offers
a great variety of activities and places to visit
while admiring its neo-colonial architecture. Diverse
restaurants vary from regional to global along its
streets, while local bars even let you craft your own
beer. The urban yet relaxing vibe let visitors cycle
or stroll on the Amsterdam Circuit.

If there’s other choices, I would stay somewhere else as there are multiple blockages still at that area. It’s good for visits though just the buildings are not the safest there. Cary
